Game Changer...
Chipotle peppers are most definitely a game changer! I grind my own dried Ancho & Guajillo peppers for recipes. Store bought chili powders taste like chalk. Pffffft! Y'all throw that crap out! I ground up some of these chipotles to add to my Cajun Red Beans & Rice because I was out of Cayenne pepper. It tasted AMAZING! Best batch I ever made! They added an unexpected depth of flavor! They stood up to the garlic, Bay leaves and Thyme. I'll NEVER use Cayenne pepper again! I'm addicted to these peppers! I'm playing around with new family reunion recipe ideas so I made a batch of baked beans (Bush's Country Style Hickory & Brown Sugar canned) with hickory smoked bacon, onions, bell peppers, a little bit of Sweet Baby Ray's Brown Sugar & Hickory BBQ sauce and fresh ground SEEDED chipotles. (Yes, I saved the seeds for later!) Great real smoky flavor with a mellow heat that would be tolerable for most palates. The smokiness rounded out the sweetness too. Chipotles and bacon...a match made in heaven!Note...I didn't receive the label shown in my order history and saw nothing about the e-book recipe download when I ordered. Gi'me!

Rich flavor
I can chop this up and throw it in a stew or rice pot. It gives rich smokey flavors along with heat and cherry flavors. If you prefer mild, remove the seeds.

Fresh and flavorful and versatile
I chop and/or grind these peppers into a lot of what I cook. They are very versatile. I've never had a problem with insects or mold. And every package I've bought has been fresh to the point that I need to dry them a little in an air fryer before putting them in a ceramic grinder otherwise they gum up the grinding surfaces.

Excellent!
These were leathery and raisiny ! Some were too dry and brittle but I’d say 98%+ were perfect and for a dried pepper you can’t ask for much better!

Superior Quality!
I bought these to go in a salsa recipe I found. These peppers are of superior quality and loaded with flavor! So tasty was the Roasted Tomato Cashew Salsa, I feel compelled to share the recipe so you’ll know that these peppers are the ones to buy! Delicious!!:INGREDIENTS⅓ cup cashews6 dried cascabel chiles or 3 pasilla chiles, seeds removed2 morita chiles4 large tomatoes, cored2 garlic cloves2 tablespoons fresh lime juice2 teaspoons kosher saltRECIPE PREPARATIONPreheat oven to 350°. Arrange cashews on one side of a rimmed baking sheet and chiles on the other. Toast until chiles are fragrant, about 5 minutes. Remove chiles from baking sheet, then continue roasting nuts, tossing once, until golden brown, 8–10 minutes. Let cool. Remove and discard stems from chiles.Increase oven temperature to 450°. Roast tomatoes on a clean rimmed baking sheet until skin is browned and beginning to separate from flesh, 30–35 minutes. Transfer to a blender and add garlic, lime juice, and salt; blend until smooth. Add chiles and blend until coarsely chopped. Add cashews and pulse until coarsely chopped, about 5 pulses.

Hot!
These are super hot peppers, and I used them sparingly in my recipe. Kind of hard to cut into smaller pieces, but I got it done! Have lots left for future cooking. Fast delivery, and decent price for me. Good seller.
