The grip fits great, and really does help fill in any gaps in your hands when you’re holding your RP5. It feels like a more official handheld device with this grip. The grip doesn’t exactly hug the back of the trigger part of the device but if anything it’s a great place to rest your finger if you arent using the triggers. They arrived a few days earlier than the delivery expected, and in perfect condition besides being a little fuzzy probably from the felt that got shaken up during transport. As well as the grips there was a little surprise included which was a small orange frog. Kind of funny that whoever packed up our items just so happened to include my favorite animal, which is a pumpkin toadlet. That absolutely made my day, so thank you so much for that extra piece of happiness! In the picture the thump grips shown are not included but were purchased separately just to clarify! I wanted to show the thumb grips that I chose for my own RP5(the black one is my husbands, mine has not arrived) because they are also frogs. I think this is worth the extra money because it’s a thick case, which makes it very durable, as well as a one piece set rather than a split grip like some other listings on amazon. I also really like the extra hooks at the top and bottom to secure the device more than just hugging around the lip of it like the official grip from retroids site. The back of the grip is textured which I really like rather than a smooth back so I can grab it more securely and in my opinion feels satisfying as well. The felt is a really nice touch since it cushions the handheld and will not scratch up the edges at all if that concerns anyone. Like I said before I think the only thing that I think could change is a more rounded edge under the triggers but this is more of a minor complaint and does not effect the purpose of this product at all. Would highly recommend to pick up one of these grips if you have an RP5.-Megan Beaubouef
