A low cost, effective solution. It has a retaining clip which ensures a good fit. Can be reversed on the lens to save space. Bought another for a different lens. Quality is excellent.

It fits properly

I've bought JJC lens hoods before instead of Canon's own. JJC are much cheaper than Canon's and usually just as good. This one, however, is unnecessarily complex to fit, involving three parts. When I eventually fitted, it seems ok, but if you buy this one look at the JJC video on how to fit it.

Great that's it's reversible so protects the lens when not in use. It fits well and does the job. Can't go wrong.

Bought this Lens Hood for my 15-30mm lens as one is not supplied by Canon. Fits perfectly and is a better price than Canon's own hood.

After installing the mount to my RF 35mm as instructed, the hood was near impossible to squeeze onto the mount, let alone rotate it into the locked position. If I did manage to get it on (really nerve-wracking as I didn't want to damage my brand new lens) it was really hard to subsequently get it off.It's possible I got a dud as I haven't seen this reported on reviews before. But I can only review based on my experience. Returning for a refund. Such a shame as I wanted to love this product.

Ordered for an RF 15-30 lens. It's a plastic lens hood (similar to original Canon version) for less than half the price. Would be nice if it had a Canon logo on it, but not for an extra 20 quid!

Very good product, made of solid plastic. The inner side surface doesn't reflects light (prevents flares and unwanted light in lens). Deffinitely good price-worth ratio. And Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 doesn't have lens hood included, so this is pretty good solution.
