Great value pack of replacement PS3 controller batteries!
I posted some pictures along with this review. Seems like a pretty solid deal to me. You get 2 batteries, the necessary tools to open the controller, and a replacement mini USB cable to charge your batteries once it's installed in the controllers. I also used the iFixIt website to guide me on what to do just to be sure. Last week I found out the battery was dead after wanting to connect it to my PC and use it. I installed a new battery and it works just like before. As you can see in the last picture, the battery works and the lights were on and flashing like it was trying to connect to something. The 1st picture shows the replacement battery on the left and the original (dead) one on the right. As for how long the battery lasts, I'm not sure. However, the listing makes it sound like it lasts longer than the original, which I'm not complaining about. Just be careful when lifting the back cover off the controller so that the buttons don't come flying off. Also happy to say that it connected to and works just fine on my PC, though downloading and installing the necessary drivers was also required to actually use it. In my case, I used DsHidMini after being redirected from ScpToolkit, though there is also DS4Windows if you want to go the button remapping route. Both of these are open-source too.

Fantastic Solution (With a few caveats)
I purchased this for my CECHZC2U controller after its internal battery started bulging and discharging. I had done research ahead of time on disassembly, but there were a few things that I had to do to get this to work. The kit is extremely comprehensive, tools included are a welcome addition, two batteries is an incredible value and the packaging is stellar. I was surprised at the lack of any adhesives, I think if the price was increased just a bit to include them it’d be an understandable change. Also my controller natively wouldn’t fit the battery in it, after making a few test fits I noted there are two “T” shaped structures that come out of the bottom of each analog recess, getting rid of these with a dremel (a wire cutter should be fine) will shave off just the few precious milimeters to allow the battery to sit horizontally just below the reset button on the PCB. Although see if your controller is the same as mine as some layouts vary. Doing this allowed me to reassemble painlessly, even getting the bottom middle to clear the battery and “snap” in ensuring a stock, perfect seamless fit. Great product, absolutely worth it.

It works... Kinda...
I ordered these batteries and tested them thoroughly using both cells. Than I sacrificed one cell for research for other buyers. Here's the information I have. These DO NOT last as long as you think they would. The Pickle Power cell weighs about 2g-3g less than the OEM Sony battery and is not constructed anywhere near the same quality of the OEM Sony battery. The battery weighs less and it only lasts about 10%-20% longer than the OEM Sony battery, and that's being fairly generous with the 20% measurement. I cracked one of the Pickle Power cells open just by simply twisting it with my bare hands (and you cannot do this at all with the OEM Sony cell as it's built VERY nice). The cell inside is NOT labeled in any way in regards to a brand, power rating or mAh rating. It's a blank cell. The plastic casing is very weak and easy to break. Buyer beware if you're looking for a "extended life battery" as they do not last much longer over OEM Sony. They are VERY worth the price if you just need a quick replacement as you get TWO cells for a dirt cheap price. I am removing a star for the unbranded battery and the battery life itself. Overall a very good product.

Everything you need in one box
I haven't tested the actual battery life yet, but mine came charged and the controller I repaired worked right away. I had purchased a controller with a dead battery that paired and worked while plugged in with a charging cable, but the battery would no longer hold a charge. Accidentally hitting the PS button while putting the controller back together with the new battery unit even turned my PS3 on from another room. While I didn't particularly need another screwdriver or cable, the fact that those are included, along with a little spudger tool, is nice. If you don't have these things but need to replace a battery, you at least get everything in one box. You could probably do without the spudger, but it doesn't hurt to have one just in case, and the screwdriver has a magnetized tip which is always a handy feature. (Yes, you can magnetize your own screwdrivers, but again, with this kit you don't need to do or have anything extra.)It's overall a good price for what you get, I just hope the battery ends up lasting as long as an original one did since I used to get really good battery life from PS3 controls before. In the past I've had to change other parts before the battery itself ever went bad.

Great battery so far
Installed this on my old PS3 controller and it’s working great. Battery seems fine. I have the tools but including a tool kit is great and I used it because it was right there.
