Era Organics Microdermabrasion Facial Scrub & Face Exfoliator - Spa Quality Exfoliating Mask with Manuka Honey Plus Walnut for Blackheads, Buildup, Wrinkles 2oz

I am 71 years old, and have been using this face scrub/mask for about two weeks. First of all, I don't have any major skin problems. I have been using all natural products on my face for the last couple of years, and noticed a couple of what looks like blackheads at the side of my nose. Whether this was caused by the oils I use on my face or just an aging thing, I don't know. At any rate, I decided it was time to look for a facial scrub, and chose this one because of the natural ingredients.As a facial scrub, I love it. The granules are small and not like rocks and the substance they are in applies easily and fluidly. The directions on the container recommend applying and leaving on your face for 1-3 minutes. Since I don't have a lot of spare time and am always in a hurry, I have managed to leave it on for 1 minute and have used it 3 times per week. I have noticed that the little blackheads around my nose are disappearing, it rinses off easily, and my face feels so much cleaner feeling than it has with other cleansers I have tried. I do use rose water and a natural moisturizer afterwards, and have to say that my skin looks brighter and healthier.I have not yet tried this product as a facial mask that would require leaving it on for 15-20 minutes, but I will try this in the near future. If this works as a mask, it would be so much better than the thick grey stuff you need to smear on your face and let it dry until it cracks. At this point, I am very happy with the results when using this product and would recommend it. As yet, I have had absolutely no problems with sensitivity or adverse effects. I will update this review if my opinion changes or if I have any additional information.UPDATE 7/04/18:For the last couple of weeks, I have tried applying this mask to my face before I take a bath and leaving it on until the end of my bath. As a mask, it doesn't get stiff and dry as other masks I have tried and it rinses off easily at the end of my bath. As a mask, I can't honestly say that it does much more than using it as a cleanser, but I do like the way my face feels after using it. As a scrub, I like it very much and will continue to use it.UPDATE 03/02/20:I am now 73 years old, and have been using this scrub for almost 2 years. To be honest, I haven't been consistent in when I use it. Sometimes I use it once a week and other times I go as much as a month between uses. What I have noticed when I use it is that my face feels silky smooth after I rinse it off. I have also noticed that none of the pores on my face look enlarged. I use warm water on my face before applying it and then use warm water to rinse it off. I still very much like this scrub and will continue using it. I am not good at taking selfies, but I have added a picture of me at 73. You be the judge.I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update it i my opinion changes.

So far I love this product! I have been using this in conjunction with some other Era Organic products, and have to say, I am pleased with the results so far. To give you a background on my skin, I have Keratosis Pilaris Rubra Faceii. If you are unfamiliar with it, it is where your skin is rough, and bumpy due to hair follicles getting plugged up with keratin, along with redness and flushing on the face. I have tried various products over the years. My recent skincare regime was using an exfoliating cleanser with AHA/BHA (acids). However, my face was feeling very dried out, especially now that it is the winter. My skin has days where it looks much worse, and flairs up so it looks very red. Usually if I can combat the bumps, it helps combat the redness.I started using the Era Organics Cleanser & Relief for my skin. I especially like that it contains manuka honey, since I have been prone to break out in the past as well. Although I was feeling like my skin was getting the nutrients it needs, I felt like it needed a little more. So, I decided to try the microdermabrasion scrub. I love it!! After reading other reviews I was worried it wouldn't give me the exfoliation I needed... but it does. I actually use this once a day, if possible, since I do have such rough skin. Here is the new regimen I have created!- Cleanse first with Era Organics cleanser (I don't use a wash cloth, but I do use a plain Konjac sponge to help aid in a little exfoliation)- Use the microdermabrasion scrub (unscented). I use a dime size amount, which is a good amount for me. I love how gritty this feels, and the walnut shells provide a good level of exfoliation without feeling I am scraping my skin off. After using this for a few mins, I leave it on my face for an extra 5 or so, then rinse it off.- Dead Sea Mud Mask by Era Organics. This also helps to exfoliate, so I love using this after the scrub. It does tingle very slightly when putting this on and provides a warming sensation. If you have sensitive skin I would be cautious using this right after the scrub, so be careful. For me it just gives a deeper level of cleansing and the extra needed exfoliation. I love how my skin feels after this... much softer, and the redness seems to tone down a bit.- Relief cream by Era Organics - Since my face feels a little dry after using the mud mask and because it is very dry in our house I LOVE how it feels to put the Revive cream on after. My face seems to soak it up. I apply this various times a day. Since it is so moisturizing I always rub it on my hands after my face.Here are a few things I have noticed from using these products!:- My pores around my mouth always seemed clogged. This has gone away so far.- The bumpiness on my cheeks is improving, while the bumpiness around my eyebrows is taking longer.- The overall redness seems to subsided. I don't feel like I need to wear as much foundation all the time.- My pigment spots are lightening slightly.- I have acne scars on my forehead, so I am anxious to see if they go away. To me they seemed to have lessened.- My skin feels less dry, and overall softer.So far I really like how my skin is looking. I love the idea of using healthy & organic ingredients while keeping the ph of my skin to where it thrives. I will also mention that I am nursing my daughter, so the ingredients I put on my body need to be healthy and not contain chemicals.I love all of these products so far, and will keep you updated!! I noticed a lot of people got these products at discounted prices to review. I purchased all of these at full price and am writing my review on my experience alone.

This worked well for me. I bought the smaller size to try and no regrets. A little goes a long way so this is going to last me longer than expected. I have oily skin, my skin felt clean and smooth after use. The rough texture felt like it was really exfoliating my skin. I followed it with a moisturizer to avoid any drying effect.

OMG! I love this stuff! Being a wound care nurse, I am very aware of the benefits of manuka honey and collagen and I needed a good face scrub to take away the dullness and flaky skin from my face. I also have issues with breakouts sometimes and the manuka honey mixed with the exfoliating granules help slough away the dead skin cells, dirt, oil, and bacteria so my pores stay squeaky clean! There’s not much of a smell but I’m okay with that because smell means usually means perfumes and since my skin is so sensitive and becomes inflamed very easily I appreciate the absence of scent irritants. I have already recommended this too many friends (heck I shouted off the rooftops of Facebook! lol) and they have liked the product as well. Definitely Worth the money to have fresh and clean skin. I purchased this as I do not enjoy chemical BHA/AHA exfoliants on my skin due to acne. I am impressed at how smooth my skin feels after first use, I have mostly dry skin and have started to notice texture, this scrub in addition to my skincare routine has helped to slough off dead skin and leave my face feeling smooth. I also enjoy the natural ingredients in this product again for my skin sensitivities.
