Why pay 400 for a name brand when they are also plastic? Used on a 2014 streetglide. It did take some finagaling, you have to get it in the correct exact spot, but once done it looks great. So far after months no issues with gas cap.(I did lock tote the pin holder so it doesn't come loose) i also had to use the edge protection from oem dash on it. id definitely buy again if something ever happens to it.

Looks great on the bike. A little finicky to line up but not a big deal. The gas cap seams a little cheap but is very functional

Honestly, I'm very impressed with the fitment. Be sure to lock tight the set screw on the bottom of the fuel cap!!! Be very careful to not over tighten it, I did crack mine but pretty sure it was my fault by going to tight. Still very impressed for the price

Iv seen name brand version of this going for $130-$250 I did not purchase those I purchased this one. I don't know what could be the real difference, because this one did the job just fine. It did take an extra set of hands to get it lined up and snugged on but looks great it doesn't come with weather stripping for in between it and the tank so you will have to re-use what's already on the bike also put the top bolt on first but DO NOT tighten it put it in only slightly then put the bolt under the seat on, then tighten each one back and forth a little at a time watching the fuel hole and making sure it's centered. It does seem like it's too small as you are going but it does fit perfectly fine the gas cap comes with several gaskets used for different tanks so you will have to take off the ones you don't need for the cap to sit flush

Didn’t align with the tank as good as I wanted but kind of what I expected for the price. But the fuel cap literally fell apart right out of the package! Luckily I didn’t drop the pin in the fuel tank. So I will have to find a replacement fuel cap for sure. Overall I give it a 5/10.

Cheap plastic that has manufacturing defects in the finish. Don’t waste your money or time ordering this poorly made plastic junk.

I kept thinking about buying this and finally thought how much better can the $200 Advanblack console be there both made of ABS plastic ? Well I know this one is well made and looks good the ! It fits good as well ! Just lightly tighten the front and then tighten the back all cables and hoses fit good right under this and this gas cap is quality it pushes down and sits flush ! Harley wants $199 for their gas cap the gas cap head on this is metal fits nice tight and firm all this for $32 bucks crazy !!

As previous reviews on this item, it doesn't line up. It's not the end of the world but had to make a couple of adjustments to make it work. Down side, had to pay more money. Purchased a mold trim to close off the gaps at certain locations so now it looks better. But then I had to get a other gas cap because the one that came with it was leaking gas thru the topush down top. The if I wasn't able to improve on this i would have returned it. Not a total loss but a slightly pricey one sue to the other items purchased to add on to it.
