Plumeria growth
Arrived with no roots and planted March 19th and this is how it looks after waiting for 8weeks before any water. I gave small amount of water on May10th, and haven't water yet, not until May 31st. I killed my first try, riot rot, too much water. Less water is more for a plumeria.

My cutting died, never took root
So normally, plumeria's are pretty easy to start with a cutting. You can tell the cut part from the top, and i use a rooting hormone to get it going. Usually gets the plant to create roots more quickly. This time though, within a week of planting, the top looked brown, within 2 weeks the first 2 inches was brown and when i touched, it was already squishable, meaning it dried up from the inside. I have the cutting an a large half barrel shaped pot with a trickle watering system to keep it moist, but of course i know sometimes these things happen. So i'm not going to give a 1, I've had so many successes with other colors, so i will try again.

Bought 4
I purchased 2 pink plumeria stalks. Shipping by USPS took over a week to ship from Hawaii to California. Packaged well with bubble wrap. Wet the end and dipped in growth hormone and put it 4" into a mixture of potting soil and good old dirt. So I decided to buy one more just in case they don't root properly or die once planted into the ground. Hard to remember that it is a succulent and doesn't need alot of water. Anxious to see the outcome.
