Hardoll Solar Lights for Garden LED Motion Sensor Outdoor Security Lamp for Home Waterproof Lantern (Diamond Shape)

A nifty little Solar light, can be installed anywhere there's adequate sunlight. I generally use the dim mode, as it provides a dim lighting, unless someone walks in front of it, and activates the motion sensor, then all LED's light up. Would recommend this as there's no need to draw wires, and can be installed almost anywhere.

I ordered this one and within a month of its use it failed. Trust me within a month. First one of the led failed and later the entire unit stopped working. I would like to consider this one of incidents and this particular product was defective as the reviews are good for this product.What made my experience worse is that I had to send it back to the company and wait while they receive the defective product back and then send me a new one. In the meantime my yard is completely dark.I would also like to mention that I have been using a mpow solar light for 1 year and it is still working fine. Looking at the whole experience I would recommend the mpow light rather than this one.UPDATEI received a replacement from the company, it took a bit of them to reach me. The company followed up with me through WhatsApp. They instructed me to charge the light in direct sunlight before installing. Which I have already done. Presently it been 2 days since I have installed it after. Will update you after a month

Update 13/07/2018: Now the second unit also stopped working, so sending back. Pathetic quality!Out of 2 delivered, one was faulty so had to return. Is there a quality check dept? A simple check before dispatch could have helped to avoid the hassle.

Nice product, Although there is some time lag in the sensing it works fine. One thing is the dim light mode is on(dim light is on) even in day time, not sure if this is normal. The other mode - sensing on mode is what i have chosen and is working really fine and the brightness is sufficient for garden area of 10x10 sqft. planning to buy one more.

The light was installed on the wall at about 4.5 feet height.Sensor works only at certain angles when the person is very close to sensor.Only sensor mode worked in my light, the other mode where light remain on in dim mode after sunset is not working in mine.Light switches off quite fast. Sensor is not very effective .A bit expensive for this quality.I found the cob model of Hardoll better than this.

It is bright and looks good however it does not have dim mode. When no motion us detected, it completely turns off. I bought this for 999, si at this price, ut is worth the buy. Will haveto check on its durability though.

The product works as advertised. My underground storage tank area is in a corner of the compound that is almost dark. Many times we had instances of Snakes lying around (cobras!).Was searching for something that wouldn't require me to install wires. So solar it was. The product works as expected. However, I think the following improvements are requiredImprovements:1. There are gaps between the Solar Panel which allows a bit of rainwater to seep through. After it rains a bit, you can see the moisture in the lamp section; but that goes away2. Motion sensor specifications need to be on the manual - Does it detect any motion - lie a rat passes by and it lights up, etc. Cause one day in the middle of the night the lamp turned on and there was no one /thing in my line of sight !!

After a few days use, the backup of the light has decreased marginally. I'd not recommend it to anyone. Instead go for some branded one. This one is pathetic. Buying it is money wasted. 😔
