Beautiful!!
This thing exceeded my expectations. It’s gorgeous for one. For two, it’s exactly what I envisioned real adults having. Just sitting on their stove tops ready for use. Absolutely love

Worth the buy
I was looking for a gold kettle to go with everything else in my kitchen and this one went perfect. I would definitely recommend..

Cute and functional!
Beautiful and well made. Definitely whistles when water is ready, which is great. My only complaint is when you pour it it leaks from one part.

Divine But DANGEROUS
The ONLY reason I have not returned this kettle after its first use is because it's so beautiful. It cost WAY too much money to be so flawed. Firstly, the description on the page is incorrect: The handle does not fold down. Second, more steam blows out of the top than blows out of the actual spout. Most importantly, the metal on the handle is extremely dangerous. The wood must only be there for decoration because functionally, it makes no sense to have the metal peeping out between the pieces of wood. My hands can handle heat so I can pour the water but I advise everyone else to PLEASE USE A POT HOLDER OR THICK CLOTH TO PICK UP AND OPEN AND CLOSE THE SPOUT OF THE HOT KETTLE.I first reviewed this item on September 9, 2017. Having grown to love this kettle and just replaced it, here is an update to me review:The color is beautiful but has changed in hew a slight bit. As you can see, the rose gold used to be more pink (see picture from 2017 on the white stove) and now it’s more like a pink-ish copper tone (see picture from 2020 on a black stove). The handle shape has changed a bit as well, with the wood on the out edge tapering off a bit more than it used to in the original design. Also, the body of the kettle is less round. This kettle is still dangerous, but I’ve gotten used to it. And I’m still in love with its overall aesthetic. I will likely purchase yet another backup/replacement so I’ve decided to change my rating from one star to three.

Looks fantastic, but came w loose handle assy
Rose Gold looks fantastic. The wooden handle looks nice too, however, on unit shipped to me the wood laminates attached to the metal handle were loose and would slip when pouring water from the kettle. A bit of a safety issue. Could probably be resolved with dowels or rivets but since the handle mount is recessed, the only option is to try and glue it. I did not have success with this however and instead had to return it for replacement. Otherwise happy with it.

Functional & Pretty
I absolutely love this kettle. I wanted something pretty, functional, and that didn’t contain any plastic and this kettle was exactly that. I’ve had mine for a couple of years and have already gifted this item to a couple of people who saw mine and loved it. I get compliments all the time. As with any metal kettle, I recommend completely emptying it of water after use and towel or air drying it to prevent rust. The only reason that I docked it a star is because the handle on the lid comes loose a little bit but it can be tightened with a screw driver easily and the wood on the handle doesn’t wrap around completely so if you touch the metal part, it’s a little too hot sometimes. I usually use a towel or oven mitt when pouring from it.

don’t buy this tea pot
The inside started rusting, same as other reviewers for top - the lid gets stuck, and it’s hard to remove. Total junk. Don’t buy.

Great tea kettle!
This tea kettle is light weight, quieter than others, and looks so pretty. I do like the quite whistle. Because it’s light weight, it does take a little longer to boil water.

Arrived damaged but DID get a refund. Discoloured after only a few uses.
I was so excited to get this kettle for my birthday present to myself back in May. A big splurge for me. I read all the reviews and decided I could handle the fact that the handle gets hot (pretty much all stovetop kettle handles get hot) because I loved the shape and colour. Both of those lived up to expectation, but it arrived with a huge dent in the side. It had been packed with only a couple of those plastic bubble things - basically rattling around in a big box, so I'm not all that surprised it was damaged. When I tried to return it, the message "this item is ineligible to return" came up, along with another, contradictory message -- a more general one -- about 30 day returns. There was no indication that I can see on the product page that returns weren't possible. NOT OKAY! But, for anyone else in this position, there is a way: I waded around in the depths of amazon (it keeps sending you back to the returns page -- be patient) and found a customer support email address and sent pictures and a complaint about the ineligibility for return. Yes, my actual name is Karen and in this case I embrace it :) To amazon's credit (ha, see what I did there), I received a same-day reply refunding the purchase price to my credit card. I was not required to send back the kettle. I've bashed out the dent a bit -- still looks bad -- and I'm turning that part to the wall for now. I will not be reordering this same kettle, as it seems many have had issues with damaged products. Sad, because it's so pretty.Update in January 2020: I was very happy that eventually I'd had a refund and just decided to keep using the dented kettle. Unfortunately, the kettle quickly discoloured and burnt in patches. I've recently found a similarly-coloured Teazen kettle at Winners and it has not discoloured, so I think the PinkyUp kettles, cute as they are, are just poorly made.

Delighted with my new kettle!
OMG it's sooo pretty!!I'm a hard-core coffee girl...however, I recently developed a mini-addiction to an evening London Fog and decided to save myself the agony of waiting not-so-patiently for my Keurig to spit out a cup of hot water to make my tea. I saw this tea kettle and fell in love with its aesthetic...literally makes me smile when I see it on my stove each morning. (Yes, it is THT cute). Also, it works well (boils the water quickly- handle doesn't get hot - water flows out nicely...so I guess that's all important too! =D

Why did it discolour so easily?
Love the design. Bought it for the colour. Now, after only a few uses, one side has a brown stain. (See photo.) Figured I had put a hot pan too close to it or something and it would scrub off. Tried dish soap and water, blue scrub pads, even magic eraser. Nothing takes it off. Seems pretty lame for a kettle finish to be that delicate. Another thing that is minor but annoying is a kind of bubble- looking smear on either side of the spout. Almost looks like fingerprints. It's just frustrating. Would have been better off buying a quality used kettle at a thrift shop. If I go through the hassle of returning it, it will probably end up in a landfill. Waste of my $ and the planet's resources.

Impractical design waste of money, Updated completely useless
Handle is horrible the metal sticks out just enough that it's too hot to touchUpdate, after 2 months of use the lid handle has melted inside leaving now way to screw it on. Kettle is unusable. Dont waste your money
