Available in a 10g or 50g tube. TF2 Carbon Gripper Paste is specifically designed for use in assembling carbon components. Reduces required tightening torque on handlesbars, stems and seatposts. Increases surface friction to reduce slippage and prevent seizing.

Could be unecessarry
Check the packing list when ordering parts to see if they come with fiber gripper paste. I didn't check & the seat post I bought came with gripper paste, for bike mechanics or constant tinkerers maybe, average riders may not want the added cost. This paste is just as good as any other, check descriptions before ordering.

Product is good, tube is much smaller than anticipated.

Its a small tube but it goes a fair way considering
This compound is ok, im surprised just how much has come out of such a small tube, still plenty in it, i dont no why this product is so pricey for what it is, but does the job of grabbing the carbon fibre parts and getting them to grip better.

Small tube of a product you generally don't have to use very frequently. Used for assembling carbon seatpost and bars onto aluminium bike and no slippage or seizing evident despite Scottish weather. I am told this can also be useful for other bike fastenings where fit isn't perfect or slippage common (eg saddle rails) although I have never used it for this myself.

Almost ruined my bike
Almost ruined a 5k bike with this, it bonded together seat post and frame, had to brake a 200 pounds seat post to manage to save the frame.

better value elsewhere
it does what it's supposed to by at £3.50 this is much more expensive comparatively than other options. ok if you're doing a one-off service or fitting, but no so good if it's for frequent use

Great quality. Holds well. Only really enough for one large seat post.
Great quality carbon grip paste which is of a clear jelly type consistency with little 'bits' in it. Holds the seat post very well even with minimal torque. It's a very small tube but absolutely plenty for even the longest seat post. But you won't have much left.
