Excellent neck knife
Obviously, this isn't for hacking through brush, hammering through wood, or taking on zombies. This is fantastic for skinning game, doing regular bushcraft chores like fire making and tool/equipment making, etc. You know, all the stuff that a neck knife with a wide blade is good for. It is light and small, but the blade is strong and the handle feels right in my hand. Easy to lay a finger along the spine for close work support. It is a good workhorse and made well, no uncomfortable skeleton handle to hold and built solid for all its small size--I will put boiled linseed oil on the handle and probably Snowseal or something on the leather sheath and braided neck piece. May carefully patina the blade with vinegar but if it is kept properly oiled it will be fine. The spine has crisp edges so ferro rod striking is easy peasy. The sheath has a notch which makes it easy to always know which direction the edge is coming out (so long as you put it in the same way!)--and it is made so you can replace the braided leather cord with whatever suits your fancy if you so wish. Love the salute to a historical piece. This looks just plain awesome when worn. Definitely my new neck knife. Very happy. It is simple and pleasing to look at. Nice to have something that isn't wall to wall plastic/synthetic. Condor does good work. I found gently squeezing the sheath from the sides when inserting the knife makes it go in easily--but the way to ease up the tight sheath is to oil or Snowseal it, inside and out and work it a bit with your fingers.

Great little knife!!
When first unboxing this knife it was definitely smaller than expected but that was actually a good thing as I wanted a comfortable EDC knife. Now onto the looks. This us such a cool looking knife its been worn around my neck almost everywhere I go and not only are people not the least bit intimidated but some even ask to see it and it gets alot of compliments. Recently I was out fishing with the boys and didn't realize the canned chicken I had brought to mix with some noodles dudnt have an easy open tab. The Otzi cut the can open no problen and was still quite sharp after two cans and its size made it very controllable. Its a great companion and paired with something bigger like a tomahawk or machete or even a large knife such as an ESEE junglas your set.

Good looking knife, but had to re-bevel
Overall it's a solid little neck knife, but it came to me with completely rounded off edges near the tip and the base of the knife. I had to spend a bit of time with a sharpener to correct this. I also had the neck lanyard come loose and I had to retie it. After I fixed these issues, the knife had been solid, good-looking, and ergonomical to use.

Very Cool Little Knife
I bought this for my wife because she thought it was cute or something. It is surprisingly useful as well as beauty. The sheath has a braided leather lanyard if you choose to wear it as a neck knife. Not sure I would recommend that due to the leather lanyard being the weak point if this knife has one. If I could afford one of everything in the Condor catalog, I would be the happiest guy on earth. I love high carbon steel and that is their specialty. Keep in mind, yes, these are made in El Salvador, but that’s a good thing for the sheaths, as great leather work comes out of there. Also, the plant used to be in Germany and they brought all the equipment as well as some of the designers/knife makers with them. I own four of their knives and the sheaths are worth the price of admission, but you also get a heck of a blade.

Great little knife
I really like this little knife. Sheath could be a bit better but I am going to have a horizontal belt sheath made for it. The knife is utilitarian in design and looks. You can get a great edge on it and it holds it for a while. It is not stainless steel, but that is a plus with me and it sharpens up and holds it.

Great little knife with historic influences
I was in my first year of college when Otzi was found. I have been fascinated by his story for the last 30 years. This little knife a w onderful homage to him and the kit he carried.I've been carrying the knife daily and have found hundreds of uses for it. Among those uses is NOT slicing an apple. The thickness of the blade causes the wedges to break. No worries, though, it worked great for everything else. Now I have to buy another, as my wife has taken a fancy to it.

Rough manufacture. Neck cord too short.
I purchased based on a desire to have a “cool” cutting tool. Though interesting, it was not worth the cost-to me- anyway. I will add to my collection but would not recommend as a working tool.
