Steepletone Brighton 1950's Portable Retro Style Rotary Radio - Blue/White

A nice piece of retro kit. I ordered for my 81 year old husband. Wanted something uncomplicated, switch on, tune in to local radio station, no multi buttons for functions that would never use. Ideal for reaching out early morning and turning on. The reception is clear and plugs into mains no need to be replacing batteries. How nice to have a piece of functional, easy equipment that does not require a degree in electronics!

Arrived on time packaged well. This was bought for my mother for Christmas and she was very pleased with the product. The radio is easy to tune and the quality of the sound is excellent. I considered buying a DAB radio but after reading reviews I decided on this radio and so pleased I opted for a straight forward tuning radio. My mum loved the vintage style and she said it was just like one she used to own. The weight of the product makes it feel more expensive than it is. Excellent value for money and would definitely recommend.

Absolutely thrilled! Radio arrived quickly and well packed. On opening, I was very surprised at the size, it's much bigger than I thought! Gorgeous retro styling, looks and feels of a good quality, and stations can be picked up clearly and easily by a turn of the dial. Very happy with my purchase, would recommend.

If you want a simple to operate radio for your kitchen then this is the boy for you! Simple to operate, and good sound. FM MW LW and that's it. No DAB or cassette or CD player-just a simple smashing looking radio that is good value.My wife has arthritis in her hands but says this turn the dial for stations radio is just the job for her.for £36 it is almost a steal!

Bought the black and cream radio for my new flat. I have to listen to the music while washing up so purchased this little bad boy. Fits perfect on my window sill and blends brilliantly with the decor. It's quite dinky and so cute! I purchased this to pick up all the pirate radio stations which play some old house music and the reception is brilliant! I'm very impressed with my new radio and its been on for most of today when it arrived, ordered Wednesday and came Saturday morning,and was well packaged, very happy bunny 🐰🐰🐰xx

The radio arrived very promptly. The sound is great and I love the design. UPDATE: Like others have mentioned, the radio was great initially but it slowly stopped picking up stations and now I can barely tune into a channel for more than a few minutes. I've tried moving it around the kitchen, changing the angle of the aerial and turning the volume up to no avail. Pretty radio but totally useless.

The radio is cheaply made and the reception is appalling. It's extremely hard to get an accurate station on any band. It's impossible to get any station at all on FM. Volume is low even on 'high'.

Brilliant, bought as a gift for my 77year old father ,he loves it .I would definitely recommend this its very well made and a decent size thinking of buying another one for my kitchen ,great.
