Great BMW service kit
Power steering was getting a bit sticky so I knew it was time for service. I was happy to see a service kit, instead of trying to hunt down what I needed. Everything went on fine and I even have leftover fluid. My only suggestion is new hose clamps, which are not included in this kit

Check parts from this supplier as soon as you get them.
This is a nice kit. Unfortunately the inlet and outlet nipples on the reservoir are in the completely wrong direction for the motor I specified. E36 m3. Stock hoses would not work and I had no time to reorder. Had to magiver a solution and now have to replace everything again because I had to cut hoses.

Perfect fit but new cap doesn’t indicate fluid requirement.
Perfect fit but new cap doesn’t indicate fluid requirement. Can hurt you down the road if someone else is servicing it and uses more common fluid.

2011 BMW 335i xDrive e90 N55
I’ve done PS flushes before, and this was no different. On an xDrive version there isn’t a lot of room for any sort of anything, as you know. On my 335 e90 I went after the 12mm nut on the hose by passenger front tire on the steering rack itself. Not much access, but it allows fluid to escape the steering rack and the hose itself. You can turn the wheels side to side by hand to help drain it, and it will squirt out.Upon getting air “bubbles” out I found it to be more of a foam. LOTS of TINY bubbles would appear altogether and not big ones like it was burping like I was expecting. Letting the car run, while idle, helped the process A LOT, you just gotta make sure to top it off. I moved my steering wheel/wheels side to side for 30mins altogether and then had someone else check for bubbles. Easy job, just messy and takes a bit.
