Good Tip for Plunger: At Samshow, it's important for us to use materials that are safe to be around the whole family. For this reason, we use a natural rubber that is tough and durable in our plungers. You may notice an initial strong rubber scent when you first receive your product. We recommend leaving the plunger outside in the sun to neutralize the odor before placing in the bathroom for use! you will get : 1 x Samshow Update Version drain plunger 1 x big natural rubber attachment head 1 x small natural rubber head 1 x instruction 1 x natural cotton bags for packing .

meh.
I would have rather gotten just a regular plunger. The suction cup part doesn't consistently stay in place, I worry about the quality of the blue tube part because you are sticking that in dirty toilet water, not sure how sanitary it is. The suction idea does seem to work if you get the suction cup to stay in place. So ... meh. I haven't encountered an unusual clog, but I guess I wouldn't know if it was unusual if I didn't try a regular plunger first and then this one. So.. overall, if you are having some real clogs, this might be helpful.

Wow Samshow
Kitchen and bathroom sink (connected on same pipe) clogged up. Normally I would call the plumber and have them rooter it. Plumber can still make house calls now but thought I would try this and a few other items first. After trying an inexpensive rooter purchased with this almost gave up but kept at it. Out of the box looked kinda cheap and maybe a gimmick. Made one last try in the bathroom sink with this thing the clog cleared out. Wow, took some effort but it really worked. Saved probably several days waiting for a plumber and a big bill

didn't work on my low flow toilet. I'm returning it
First, let me state that my toilets are low flow and the hole at the bottom of the bowl is irregularly shaped (long). The big head on this plunger did not cover the hole, so it just sunk into the hole when I plunged and it just didn't work for me. It never got a good enough seal because it didn't cover the hole. It does have great suction for smaller holes that the head will fit around. It might work great for someone with a toilet bowl with a different shaped hole to the basin.

Cleared clogged sink drain
One of the sink drains (without the erator) was clogged and water took its merry time to get through the drain. I tried a few methods all within a few hours and this is what occurred:1. Poured 1 cup baking soda into dry clogged sink drain and followed by 1 cup white vinegar. This concoction started bubbling up from the top of the drain and uber slowly sunk in while still bubbling after 2 hours. It works to loosen things up in the drain, naturally and gently without toxic ingredients.2. Poured boiling water down that same drain 2-3 hours later. At first, there was some bubbling but it dissipated quickly.3. Twisted on the large (toilet) attachment to the plunger and got to work. This highly effective tool helped suck the junk up the drain into the sink though all I saw was liquid, no solids. Eventually I ran tap cold water to that same side of the sink. Continued to attempt sucking up the drain and eventually it cleared. I knew the job was done as soon as I started hearing air being sucked up and blown in from the other drain with the erator. The whole process took up to 1 minute at most. Now that the drain is cleared, it functions like a dream! BEST INVESTMENT EVER! Love that I can use this sucker for both sink and toilet drains. Just be sure to sanitize the attachments between uses :)

Good Concept. Poor Implementation.
I bought this along with a standard plunger to test side-by-site. The concept of using the hand-pump works OK. The plunger, however starts to fall apart if you put any force into it, for blockages that are hard to clear. For example, the plastic handle will significantly flex; the plunger attachments flop around. Trying to use it reminds of skits from Monty Python or Benny Hill. You're better off using an OG plunger. If they use higher quality components that will endure, perhaps in a second revision, I'd give it another shot. I realize this is a review about a plunger. Sunddenly, I hear Austin Powers saying, "who reviews a plunger, honestly." But, when your crapper is clogged...

Mediocre at best.
Well, I had high hopes. Maybe I was expecting too much... But this just sort of collapsed on itself and couldn't form a good suction as it turned inside out. It's pretty useless for a toilet. I'm hoping it's better geared for a sink or tub, which is why I gave it three stars rather than 1. For toilet clogs? Definitely a 1 star review.

Works great for persistent clogs!
The kitchen sink in my house has a really odd plumbing configuration and I consistently get clogged drains. One minute it seems fine, the next minute you are washing dishes and the water just decides to stop going down. It's gross, I know its a lot of food debris, but it's not easy to flush because the plumbing is so wonky.I hated always digging out my bathroom plunger for my kitchen sink... that's for toilets! Not where I put my dishes! And all I really need is something that will push and flush the clog. THIS is PERFECT! It works almost like a bicycle pump (push and pull) getting traction is key, and making sure there is water in the sink is important. You don't use this just as air, there needs to be water so the force can push the water through. It comes in a bag (bonus!) and is very discreet! There are two different heads, one is great for large drains (toilet) the other small (sinks, etc.) easily interchangeable, and really easy to follow instructions.Flushing clogs out of my kitchen sink drain is so easy now and I highly reccommend!

The only thing really going down the drain successfully is the money.
Regardless of the size suction cup I selected, I could not create anything that even resembled a decent seal. Without a good seal, trying to plunge the toilet was a nightmare. This was a splish-splash sewage water, nightmare bath. The bowl of the plunger was so cheaply made of a thin rubber that upon every plunge, it folded upon itself. This is a great idea but the execution (because of cheap products, including a super short handle b/c who doesn't love their handle in a sewage clogged toilet) is a massive fail. This...is a piece of crap. I want to return this but it won't allow me to. Psh.
