Worth every penny.
Excellent at trapping litter. My two cats, both 1/2 Maine coon, get litter everywhere. Everywhere. It seems like they fling it from the box! I have tried multiple types/brands of litter and every kind of litter mat. This is the best at trapping litter. So worth the money. Easy to snap together.

It’s okay if my cat would use it.
I think it’s ridiculous this wasn’t included with the litter box. My cat doesn’t really use it when exiting the box, just when going in. It does a good job collecting all the litter my cat kicks out before going. But it doesn’t get the litter in his paw bc he jumps over it. Over all it’s nice but only getting 4 stars bc I have to buy it separately.

Purrfect for older kitties
Perfect for older kitties. Love that all the loose litter falls inside. Works great. A little pricey but seems to be very effective. I would recommend it especially if you have older kitties or like less litter tracking.

Well built.
I was excited to get this step for my 15yo male cat to make Entry & exit easier for him. But he would jump over it and avoid it. He's a weirdo though. Very well made and does capture litter and makes it easy to return it to the litterbox.

Expensive litter trap
This step is pretty cheap quality for what you are paying, and I have seen none of my cats use it. They all jump into the Neakasa litter box. I give it some stars because it does a good job catching litter. Emptying the litter from it is another thing.

Pricey but great step. Would recommend.
Great step to get up into the Neakasa. (I have 3) I use the mat also but still doesn’t eliminate the sandy litter tracking. It does help some but still sweeping several times a day. (12 cats, 5 auto litter boxes). One regular.

Ok but my cats don't use it
I'm sure it works well. Unfortunately, my cats won't step on it. I guess they don't like the feel of it. lol

Nice addition for Neakasa especially for older cats
A must have with a Neakasa litter box. Some of my cats would jump in without but I have a couple senior cats and this was better for them. I use in tandem with a litter mat but probably not necessary. Captures a lot of litter and easy to dump right back in the litter box. Snaps together easily.
