These need to be changed more frequently than we can fill them up. The moisture and heat from the compost really does a number on the bag after 4-5 days. We’ve had to double them up effectively making them twice as expensive, and even then they will disintegrate and develop holes. We’re getting a smaller compost can so we will empty it more frequently. Overall a good alternative to plastic bags though!

Unni is by far the best value and highest quality home-use 13 gallon compost bags on the market. Most compost bags are smaller, but we compost a lot and these work the best, deteriorate the least over time, and are very good value. The trick is not to lift them like the usual garbage bag but to bring the bag in its garbage container to the compost bin and dump it upside down.

I love that these are compostable. They fit my kitchen trash can well and they don't leak. My only complaint is that the bags need to be a little longer or have "ears" at the top for tying the bag. Once they are full, there is no room to close them, and there is no stretch as with plastic bags, so don't overfill them.

Every little thing that we can do to help save the planet counts. I bought these for in house garbage and also the larger size for yard and leaf clippings. They both work! I feel like any little thing I can do to help this planet then I need to do it. They are biodegradable also!

I’ve been using these bags for years, literally years, but this roll had problems. As I got down to the end of the roll, instead of tearing off horizontally across the roll, they started tearing vertically. As I was opening one bag it split down the length of the bag rendering it useless. Of course, because it was in the last portion of the roll, it was long after the date that I could return it.

I like the bags but I wish they made a smaller size. also they quite often leak so I end up using two

I have used these bags for years and their quality has not changed.

The bags themselves are really large (that’s good) so that more compostable items can fit in them. The packaging wasn’t the sturdiest…the box was broken and a few of the bags were no longer on the roll. No bag was damaged, but the packaging was.

They are ok. Dont have a seal around them so they fall off the can so we have to real wrap them around tight but they keep the scent in so thats good.

convinient to have large quantity. Strong enough to hold kitty litter. Compostability is an important feature from eco perspective.

The bag leaks, not just one but all of them. It's a terrible design and very badly made product.

Bon sacs en général. Par contre, ils déchirent souvent lorsqu'ils sont bien chargés. J'aurais surement pu trouver une meilleure aubaine chez Walmart ou Canadian Tire...
