Fabulous Refreshing, Hydrating and Exfoliating Face Mask
At first I was a little confused about this face mask as it claims to brighten, hydrate and exfoliate, whilst also being an anti-aging product. Was it going to moisturise or cleanse my skin? I didn't know what to expect. In the past, I've used drying mud masks to clear my pores and very occasionally hydrating masks which really aren't suitable for my oily, sensitive skin. So I was sceptical. However, having since used the Glow Up Enzyme Mask, I can honestly say that it's absolutely wonderful. Wow! My skin feels amazing, as if it's been thoroughly cleaned, exfoliated and moisturised all at the same time. The product does exactly what it promises, which is all of the above and in the space of 20 minutes. It's beautifully packaged, just as shown in the description. The mask is pleasantly creamy in texture, pale peach in colour and has a fruity aroma. I only need about a pound coin size to cover my face and neck. It tingles on my cheeks at first, then this feeling subsides as the mask appears to absorb into my skin. When I wipe my face with a cloth to remove it the cloth looks clean. What surprised me most was that my skin felt moisturised, smooth, soft and pliable, but it was also mattified and completely refreshed, calmed and more even in tone. The feeling is sublime. My skin looks lovely, which is something I didn't expect I'd be able to say at 50.This is a luxury product for me. It feels like a real treat, though because of the great results I would want to use this regularly. It's completely worth it and a little really does go a very long way.

An excellent face mask. A touch of luxury at a very reasonable price per use
This enzyme face mask in a 100ml tube. It has a really pleasing citric smell when the tube is squeezed (it contains pumpkin, pomegranate, papaya, mango, mandarin and pineapple enzymes). I was very interested to see the effects of this given the products statements on exfoliation, hydration and brightening of complexion as well as firming up the skin. It suggests a coin sized amount and I did find that a small amount does go a long way. The texture of this is really nice when applying.I would ballpark estimate based on the amount used that there may be 25-30 applications in the tube. When applying this to the skin it feels very fresh, can be applied easily and in the first moments did cause the skin to tingle but in a pleasant way. This is a mask you can apply and it is barely noticeable which I like a lot. It suggests leaving on for 5-20 minutes. I left on for 20 and when removing, the cloth I used I couldn’t see any discolouring as a result of the mask.It made my face feel tighter (in a good way), it tingled (in a very slight but pleasant way), the skin looks good and I found it a really pleasant experience. I will be using this on a regular basis gong forward. I am surprised how much difference it made to how the skin feels in a very good way Although it at first glance appears expensive, the number of applications make this both affordable and quite a luxurious option in regards to using a face mask. I highly recommend it.

Smooths and firms
The media could not be loaded. Founded by skin therapist Niamh Ryan and makeup artist Charlene Flanagan, this brand has been around since 2017 but there's been a lot of love for it recently on social media so I was interested to try this product.First impressions were that the tube looks stylish and aesthetically pleasing. It's very flexible so dispensing the product requires little pressure. The mask has a soft orange colour and a rich, silky texture. It has a lovely citrusy scent. The instructions on the box recommend using a skin mist before applying but the instructions on the tube don't mention this. I did decide to use a facial mist to see if I could get additional benefits but my skin didn't feel particularly hydrated after using the mask. It does feel smoother, though..It does feel quite firming when it's on my face, and feels firming afterwards but not tight. The mask contains fruit acids, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C.The product is made in Ireland and is vegan friendly

A nice mask, but not exfoliating enough for me
I had high hopes for the Ella & Jo Glow Up Enzyme Face Mask, especially considering its claims of exfoliation, brightening, and hydration. However, although it's a nice mask, I was a little disappointed. While the mask does contain gentle (and natural) fruit-based exfoliators including pumpkin, pomegranate, papaya, and pineapple enzymes, I found the exfoliation to be lacking in intensity. I like a powerful exfoliator to really feel like I'm sloughing away dead skin cells effectively, but this mask didn't quite deliver that experience for me.Additionally, the price point is quite steep, especially considering the size of the product. While I'm willing to invest in skincare products that deliver exceptional results, I expected a bit more bang for my buck with this one.On the positive side, I did like the mask's hydrating properties, thanks to the hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and glycerin. It left my skin feeling plump and moisturized after use, which can be quite unusual for exfoliators.Overall, if you're in the market for a gentle exfoliating mask with hydrating benefits and don't mind the higher price tag, this might be worth a try. However, if you're like me and prefer a more intense exfoliation experience, you might want to explore other options.
