I clipper my own hair and never thought about oiling the blades!After a year or so my clippers became a little blunt...or so I thought!A few searches online led me to try this oil, a couple of drops on the blades and ran the clippers for ten or so seconds and wiped off any excess oil,I then proceeded to clipper my hair and the difference was night and day! It was like a brand new set of clippers!There is no smell using this oil, the clippers operate smoothly and will give them a longer life due to the lubrication, no more metal blades grinding each other.Summary....helped clean the blades, lubrication is excellent and I will definitely recommend this oil!

Works well on my clippers. I also discovered it seems fine for lubricating the blades on a cross-cut shredder (which should be done occasionally) too.

I know I should have been using oil right from the start but never got around to buying any until now. You can hear the difference in the speed of the clippers after adding a drop of this oil. It seems to stay on the clippers rather than my hands with no sticky residue. Should have bought some when I bought the clippers !
