Hmm….. 🤔Reviewing an album that you know backwards concerning the original and comparing it to the NEW 2023 version is slightly weird.Last week, I purchased a copy of Taylor Swift’s epic 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Album.Right! you Swiftie Fans, the main question you want answering is, is this 2023 version as good or better than the 2014 version. The answer to that is unreservedly YES it is BETTER.I‘m presuming Taylor recorded these new vocals in the last couple of years when her voice is probably the best it’s ever going to sound from your early thirties. That said her vocals from the original 1989 Album aren’t to shabby particularly when you consider she was twenty five when recording them.But in my opinion her vocals are on this version are definitely better, more polished and definitely sounding cleaner.On the music, that we’re it becomes a little more divisive in whether it’s better or not. The production though of this particular version (Taylor’s Version) is definitely better.Look! when I bought the 2014 version of 1989 I was blown away by how a twenty five year old was just so articulate, funny, witty and so damn sexy.And this 2023 version has definitely cemented my thoughts that - Taylor Alison Swift that this young Woman is definitely THE REAL DEAL. ♥️🫶🏻♥️

The album itself is great, this is why I bought it, expecting some sort of a remix. It isn't. Maybe I'm not obsessive enough about her music, but variations from original are really minor. Added value here are therefore the songs of the Vault, which are, really, impressive. This is what she left out ? Gosh... what a talent !

Bought as Xmas gift

Absolutely adore Taylor Swift. 1989 is the first full album of hers I listened to and when this was announced I was ecstatic. From the cover to the Vault tracks... absolute pop perfection
