Used on jobs and it works brilliant saves needing a labourer and props.

Great DiY stress saver
For the price, this hoist offers excellent value. I decided to take a chance because there are no hire shops near us, and I am glad I did. It is not perfect, the top pivot joint is a loose fit, but the rest of the unit is very solid. It is easy to assemble and dismantle but it is a heavy box of parts. Most importantly it takes all of the stress out of plasterboarding a ceiling and the top joint wobble does not matter for DiY use, it is still stable.For a keen DiY person I think it would last you a lifetime of jobs - you just need somewhere to store the box. If you are a professional, you will want and need a better and far more costly unit.
