Great reception and stylish
This Antenna works great. I was a bit skeptical, so I was careful not to damage the box in case I needed to return it. That said, with this Antenna I am able to pick up 29 channels in my area. Only 2 of them have a little reception trouble, but the other 27 are very clear. I had a previous digital antenna and only got 16 channels and several had poor reception. I think the amplifier makes a big difference. This antenna is also very nice looking. Overall, so far I have no complaints and I would highly recommend this.(I guess I can now throw the box away.)

Works (...almost) as claimed...
The antenna works well, it picked up all the channels we know are available. It’s a nice shape, less intrusive than others, we have it on a window sill and it’s better than a “leaf” type. Pretty happy.Only point: positioning is still important, and moving it even a little can cause to lose the signal on certain channels. Not a big deal, just remember when dusting to put it back exactly as it was, including rotation...

Great Antenna & Great Reception
Deciding to cut the cable is not always easy. Before doing so you have to weigh all the options of being able to able to watch TV. We had bought some of the flat TV antennas that you can attach to the wall or window that work fine but not attractive depending on where you need to put them. After getting the first two flat ones decided to get another one for the guest room. Found this one & decided to take a chance on it. It looks great & gets better reception & more channels than the other two flat antennas we have. We decided to use it for the family room TV. Plan to replace the other two antennas with this one.

Be forewarned before purchasing this device!
First: No instructions in package explaining the switch positions on the amplifier. Second: It didn't work. There is TV station translator 1500 yards from my location. Line of sight, I can see it. When I called the support number, the bored, rude lady looked up my zip code and said it wouldn't work, I needed an outside antenna due to terrain issues. I tried to tell her I can see the translator. She couldn't understand that. I tried to explain to her that fact and she hung up on me. The TV station I want to get, over the air, has a sub-channel called "Antenna TV" with lots of old TV shows. I can't see their main transmitter as there is 10 miles of dirt between it and me. (Mountain!) The station actually sent one of their engineers out to my location to test signal strength. 100% digital signal and this antenna couldn't see it. Could very well be defective. Something was rattling inside the tower cone, but I don't want another one. Once burned.......

Did not pull in any more channels
Looks great and feels good in the hands but it's no better than what I was using before even though the range on this one was better on paper. Worth a try but prepare to be underwhelmed. Returned.

It's ok
You're probably just like searching high and low for a good antenna when Dish and NBC can't agree and we get blacked out. So here goes on this antenna. I wanted a multi directional that I would have to move. I didn't want to spend more that $50. This one finally got a good ABC picture which I couldn't get with the flat ones. But if I move the thing 3 millimeters the signal is gone. So that's why They lose a star or two. Every cheap antenna will do the same but at least this one has boost options and they do make a difference. But it's up to you through trial and error to find out which way this thing should twist. Oh.. They also lose a star because they keep saying in the horrible instructions to face it to the front but they have no indication what is front. 3 stars now.

Works but.....
I will say it does work. Came fast and good picture when it gets signal. I have 2 term antennas. I also bought a different kind that works very well for half the price. My experience is there a bit temperamental with seasonal weather. They also very in performance depending on your room. I do like the fact the extra long cable which is an antenna I can literally swing around wall to get better signal if needed. Overall got it fast but price is a bit steep for a market flooded with cheaper $20 options

Works great and is a nice departure from the flat antennas
Our closest antenna farm is 16.5 miles SE of us and line of sight (we are on hills and I can see the antennas from our yard). So it is no real test of the 50 mile rated range. ABC local comes in just as crummy on the antenna as it did on satellite TV. Everything else comes in nice and clear! Nice looking unit and looks good together when sitting my hubby's Bose bluetooth speaker of the same shape.
