This product has help define the dog my puppy has grown into. My puppy wasn't terrible at listening, but often was more distracted at what was going on around us when we were outside. It helped grab his attention and keep him focused on my instructions. I live where there are wild animals, cars, snakes and plenty of other things that could potentially hurt a curious pup. This has helped keep him from harm, that my voice alone would not have many times over. It may be a bit pricey but the durability and the quality speak for itself. As long as you keep an eye on the battery and use it as its intended it works great. I did buy some other collars to attach this to, to get the fit just right. I am very thankful for this product and my dog truly loves to wear it. Most of the time now I can just use a command without even using the collars features because he has it ingrained into him now. I never have to turn it up much and usually a quick buzz does the job.

seen lots of mixed reviews before buying this. but this has hands down changed my dogs life. Battery life is amazing, it’s easy to use, and super effective for training. My dog lives a much more active and safe lifestyle now that she’s always under my control.

Love this product! And love Tom. He is an amazing human and I love the unique way he goes about dog training. I use the dogtra products for work as a trainer but also use them on my dogs at home. The issue for me was, I don't need the e-collar on my dogs all of the time just when training or going somewhere off leash. My dogs have different sized necks and I did not want to cut the original collar my unit came with so I was folding it over. This however makes things wayyyyy easier, quicker & more efficient! I read the bad reviews this product has received and I just want to say the following. If your dog chewed the bungee cord that's dangling, sorry but that's on us (the human) tuck it in, fold it, get creative. Dogs will chew things that dangle or are bothering them in the same way we would want something removed if it were bothering us. Also, how did your dog reach the back of its neck to chew the cord off? Because the electronic part should be towards the front of its neck or to the side not on the back. Anyways, if my cord does eventually need to be replaced I'll go ahead and replace it. The time this thing is saving me every day is worth it! I'm going to start recommending it to clients who don't have the time to fuss with the typical buckle collar on the daily. I especially love that when I'm out with my dogs doing active things, it's tight and secure without it being as constricted as the buckle collar was. I'm having my dogs run fast, jump up, go swimming and there is a lot of movement therefore this helps alot! Thanks Tom for creating this awesome and very cool lookin collar. NO BAD DOGS! Love it.

This device is worth the money! We already had one for our other pup, but needing to control two shepherds at once was challenging, until now. We highly recommend this product.

This collar is very well built. I have a Doberman, very smart dog but he does get distracted a lot. He does love these collars, I love the range on it. He doesn't like the leash now. but will still wear it. Thinks hes a big boy now. Very sturdy, great quality. My 5 month old puppy immediately started responding to low stimulation conditioning. Love it.

I really wanted to love this product cus it’s great to use until it breaks! Customer service is extremely poor! My dog stopped responding to the collar. I sent it in to have repaired and they took forever, so I bought a new one. They sent it back and it broke again! The second one ended up fading out as well, which could’ve been really dangerous for my dog with extremely high prey drive. I had both units for a year until they’ve finally died. Don’t waste your money!

This is the first e collar I have purchased. The overall build quality is excellent. It is very sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. The battery holds a charge well. It has really amped up my dogs training (pun, but true)! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to professionally train their pup with an e collar.
