This slot car race track was the perfect gift for my 6-year-old, and he absolutely loves it! The cars are fast, the track is sturdy, and it provides hours of excitement. My 2-year-old also enjoys watching the races and tries to join in, though he definitely needs supervision while playing. It’s a great toy for siblings to enjoy together, and it makes for awesome family bonding time. Highly recommend for any little racing fans!

This was a great find to relive my youth with my grandson. Track went together fairly well and though it sometimes separates, pieces are easy to put back together. Until I find a true HO set, this will do just fine.

Great fun for the price. Cars work great and track is solid. My 3,5 and 7 year olds love it. They are pretty hard on it, and it keeps on rolling.

Got this for my grandson for Christmas and worked much better than he thought. The cars goe super fast and it’s exciting to watch them.

Purchased this for my grandson for Christmas put it together and the 110 power adapter was bad, but we put in the AA battery's and it was off to the races. Cars are fast and stay on the track. Guard Rails are flimsy and pop off, every thing else is adequate for the money. I like the fact that it came with 4 cars in case one brakes. Contacted the manufacture about the transformer issue and they responded quickly, asked for a order number and a picture of the defective part. Received an e-mail that problem would be handled. To my surprise a complete race track was shipped. Great service good product lots of fun and would highly recommend this product. Grandfather tested and approved. Grandsons are 4 and 5.

The track works great with the cars racing fast the first few days, but eventually starts to slow down drastically despite being plugged in the wall. The metal part on the track starts to have black looking spots and the cars get stuck too often to be fun anymore. This has happened with 2 tracks. The company was nice enough to replace our first one that developed this problem, but the 2nd one is doing it too. It's too bad as it was fun to play with in the beginning.

I picked this up as a last minute xmas gift for my son. Some of the product videos made it look promising enough. My expectations were not super high. Tyco isn't around anymore. I just wanted to find a decent, fun and simple slot car racing set.Positives:Fast shipping. It is packed nice and neat. No Missing parts. Assembling was pretty straight forward. Instructions are easy to follow for assembly. You get 4 cars to choose from and the option to use Batteries or plugin into an outlet.Negative Stars explained:-1/3 Rails are cheap and break easy:You must be extremely careful. You do have to bend them slightly for assembly since they attach to the curved tracks pieces. Sadly, it seems like they were made with a type of plastic that isn't meant to bend. If it bends only slightly too much, it snaps.-2/3 Lanes are different speeds:Once we got it assembled we were excited to have some slot racing fun.Right away we noticed one lane is always faster than the other. We tried swapping cars and trying the others it came with. No luck. One lane will always be faster. Because of this, right from the start, you lose the ability to have any fair race. At that point you just need to be entertained by cars moving and nothing more.-3/3 Power failure?:For seemingly no reason, with barely any usage, the cars would stop working. Or 1 would stop while the other kept working. Or both. I saw in another review that if the tracks can be loose and disconnect easy, but that was not the case here. Each piece seemed like a nice tight fit. They would work one moment and not at all the next.Overall, I am not at all happy with this thing. I regret wasting $66.77 on this when funds have been extremely tight this year. It was a very disappointing experience. Probably won't use it again. And I don't want to give it away to some other poor kid who would also be disappointed. It's a loss.I miss brands like Tyco. Their stuff wasn't perfect, but it just worked and we used to play with those for hours. This company seems to be gaining popularity with so many good reviews. Good for them earning money. But I do hope they take note with the negative ones and make changes to their product. We need a new Tyco successor.
