The reason I put lower stars on easy to clean and use is the weight of the rolling pin. It is solid marble so it is made well and makes a beautiful display piece. The great benefit of it being so heavy is that can let it do the work for you when rolling out dough. My grandmother has used this style of pin for her baking for years inspiring us to try one. So far i really like it which is why o gave it high stars. If you have the strength to lift it you will enjoy this product however if you do not have some good muscle strength you will not be able to use this product.

Since the product is made of marble there are two things that you should always keep in mind:1. This product is easy to clean, half the time it is nonstick on many recipes that ask for a rolling pin, and it has plenty of weight matter so that you do not need to over exert yourself trying to make your recipe thin2. The rolling pin is heavy and if it falls to the floor it will either crack, chip, or break, it comes with a stand so make sure to use it, and no more problems with mold.

4 Stars- because it works great and looks nice.1 star deduction- The handle has texture and is not glossed or as smooth as expected. I used booze block on the wood prior to use which helped out a lot.

Rolling pin arrived when expected and very quickly. I was excited to get it as I had broken my old one and using it brings back special memories. The color matched my marble slab so I was pleased with that. It is made well and rolls smoothly. The wooden holder had some drips from the polyurethane but that was minor and did not affect function. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone.

This is a solid marble roller. It is the perfect weight and durability you need in a good quality roller. The stand is a great help as well and keeps it from rolling off the counter when not in use. Overall I am incredibly happy with this product.

When it came in it had a few deep scratches on it. Dough got stuck.
