My vet put my pup on a special diet, too. These were at the top of their list, so we gave them a try. Honestly, they've been a lifesaver for his tummy troubles. She actually enjoys eating them, which is a huge plus. Definitely worth checking out if your dog has similar issues!

Devoured by a beagle!!
Our Beagle dog has a real issue with most food types we think it’s an allergy so we’ve always fed him on Hydrolysed protein food types …we thought we’d give him a try on a lesser quality feed and he lost a load of weight and was showing some really odd behaviours. We gradually changed over to this food from the cheaper pets at home Ava brand and it’s like a miracle has happpened..weight gain, improved behaviour and the best of it is the volume of food he has at each feed (twice daily) has increased which from his point of view is a winner!!Some reviews have mentioned the smell of the food ..we keep ours in a feed tub (also bought on here) and have not noticed anything terrible (the last food was fish based and it really stank!!)We have noticed his stools have changed colour (slightly greenish ) but as this is plant based and he’s healthy otherwise this isn’t a cause of concern for us but we’ll keep an eye as responsible dog owners!Would highly recommend this food if you suspect your dog has an allergy to large proteins or can’t tolerate them for whatever reason ! Not the cheapest but worth every Penny for us and a satisfied dog which is a bonus!!

Works for my dog!
This is the only food that has stopped my dogs' diarrhoea! As a puppy he contracted Giardia and has been ill since the day I got him, we tried every single test, spent hundreds into the thousands of pounds on him and finally my vet asked me to try this food. His poos are firm, okay they don't look like a "normal dog" poo probably because of the ingredients, but it's the only thing that has helped so far. My only concern is that he isn't gaining weight, but that could be due to him being an active border collie and whatever else is going on inside him. Would definitely recommend giving it a go - I know a lot of dogs won't eat it because of the way it looks, but my dog downs it.

Fixed our Frenchie’s tummy problems after 1 feed!
We have an 18 month old Frenchie who has been allergic in some way to every food we’ve tried with her with. We’ve exhausted pretty much every brand you can think off. Recently, she’s been on prescribed medication to help settle her sickness/diahorrea which did work, but we’d prefer not to have to feed her pills every day for life tbh.Her meds ran out at the weekend, and within 12hrs she was being violently sick after meals again. This food was recommended by the vet, so as a last resort we tried it, not expecting any different outcome, but the results were simply astonishing! The sickness stopped instantly with the very first feed, she no longer leaves a ‘gassy aroma’ from her rear end, and her stools are now perfectly solid (just lighter in colour!?). Her breath is also much better, as is her general demeanour. She seems happier in herself, and also chooses to go and have a lie on her bed after dinner, she seems so much more content. This is a something she has NEVER done!If your dog (especially Frenchies!) have any dietary issues, I cannot recommend this food highly enough! It’s pet food sorcery!Thank you for fixing our dog Purina! 🙌🏼

Great gut reset for our dog
When we adopted our dog we had regular dog food but he constantly had diarrhea and even started to pass a lot of blood. After a trip to the vets they suggested that we tried hypoallergenic food and then slowly reintroduced things to see what could be the cause of this. This was the perfect food for him at the time, we later found out he was allergic to chicken (which was the main ingredient in original food) so now we know what to avoid.

Picky dog is happy with it (for now)
My Lancashire Heeler has always had allergies that flared up in different ways (ears/paws etc). Vet recommended as he noticed she had a slightly inflamed stomach lining and she was going off her previous food again. She’s a super picky eater so was skeptical buying such a big bag but introduced it as little treats in between her other bits. Week later shes eating bowl fulls with some taste toppers. Her ear/paws seem alright and shes eating more now, still early days but good so far.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY
Arabella my poodle recently began to suffer with allergies and the vet prescribed this for her. Although she ate a bowlful the first time it was given to her, because it was something new, princess royal thereafter would hardly deign to sniff at it. I started to take some with me on our walks, since she can’t have her old treats, and wonder of wonders, she wolfs them down. Talk about capriciousness! At least they will not go to waste. However, I shall be considering another brand of HA dried dog food, since a 3 kg bag purchased on the 2nd of August 23 which cost me £23.99, today- the 9th September 23- costs £29.77 which with free delivery is the cheapest price. Amazon appears to be no longer selling it and it now has to be purchased from a third-party seller. Because of the 20% hike in price over in just over a month, the product only deserves three stars.

VERY IMPRESSED
The media could not be loaded. My 18 month old Yorkshire terrier has had awful problems with her anal glands. The vet recommended that we change her food to this as it is rich in Fiber. Now, Mabel is a very very fussy tiny 2kg dog and turns her nose up at almost everything. This food, although it looks very uninteresting has been a HUGE hit.Mabel scoffs the lot each time she is fed now, It’s also helping her anal glands hugely.Great product
