I got this for my 8 month old kitty to use before applying claw caps. She's such a saint and sat there so patiently and quietly while I did her nails. It's pretty fast but I still have her a break between nails just to ease any anxiety she might have been having.I have also used it on our then 9 week old husky puppy. She didn't mind it either. She sat still a little less because she's a puppy but she wasn't too worried about how it sounded or felt for her. It was equally as fast with larger nails.Some reviews say the hand file is smooth and worthless, mine works fine.I haven't had a need for the nail clippers that come with this because the electric file is so efficient and fast.I highly recommend, especially at this price point. The quality is far above what you'd expect to get for the price 😊

Both my dogs hate having their nails trimmed. And these products were very useful. The clippers cut smoothly, no cracks in the nails. The file itself does seem kinda useless, maybe that's because my dog took it out of my hand and hid it (ha!). The grinder is so quiet, my dogs didn't even flinch when I turned it on and put it by them. It is a little hard to change the top at first. This product will get used a lot in this house!

I got these quick, and they were exactly as described. The clippers work great. They are sharp and the guard makes them so easy to use. The grinder is very quiet, but I don't think they work very well. I used them on my pitbull,and it didn't seem to do much. I'm going to try them on my chihuahua and see if they work better. All and all I'm not disappointed. I think the clippers and file alone were worth what I paid for everything. I do love that the grinder is rechargeable

The grinder is wonderful and quiet but the clippers are poor and cheap. Also, not sharp at all! Every time I use them they don’t actually cut my dog’s nails and now she is so scared of the dang thing. It’s worth it for the grinder but buy a different clippers worth your money.

This nail kit is fantastic. I have never used an electric file on my dogs and I used it on my 10 week old puppy and she didn’t freak out. It was very easy to use and the noise was very low so it didn’t scare her. I wanted to get her used to getting her nails clipped but this was so much easier. My older 5 year old dog will not let me touch her paws, let alone her nails.

The media could not be loaded.  Also, as a groomer, I try every "new" product that comes out. A lot of Groomers do.UPDATE: I am very disappointed...since purchase I have only used twice on all my kids! I absolutely know how to use a grinder. As posted below, I've been a Master Groomer since 2010. I've been a groomer since I was 15(family business). I had to quit due to severe illnesses. It took away my life, boo hoo. I know.Anyhow...This grinder WILL NOT work off the charger after only @ a month. Remember, used only twice(3 dogs and 1 cat). I will be buying the small dremel brand. The reason I gave this a try is due to the fact I left my Dremel at the last place I groomed. I can't get it back bc the shop is FAAAR away. Anyhow, buy a damn Dremel. You will be absolutely satisfied unless you get a factory defect(it happens). Customer service for Dremel is awesome too. Always pay a little extra for warranty. It is worth it.This Grinder...ugh. Even while plugged in to USB the Grinder "Diamond Cut" head(the ONLY thing I'm pleased with) will stop if you barely touch it. Dremels heads slow when used, yes, but they do NOT completely stop working. This grinder does quit working after a month. I'm so disappointed.It's good for the price. As a dog groomer of 20+ years....yes, I would recommend this to clients. Just dremels for filing tho. Not nail trimmers. If you, the client, uses clippers...just take it little by little. If you "quick" your dog's nail and have no quick stop, you can use flour or black pepper.Anyhow, if you have a dog with thick nails. I reccomend to charge this device to full capacity before beginning. Keep going even when wheel-head slows. Use a "tap tap tap" motion. DO NOT KEEP A FILE ON ANY NAIL LONGER THAN FIVE SECONDS!Again, yes I do like this file for the money BUT the design looks suspiciously familiar to another women's "secret" property. so if you leave it out.....um.....be prepared to explain yourself! Sorry Video is shaky. I did the video really quick to post the review.Also it is a fact that a Diamond Head will last A LOT longer than the sandpaper heads!! Sandpaper on heads can be replaced(cheap) while Diamond head's(long lasting) wear out and you have to get a new entire wheel.

I’m very impressed with this kit. The grinder is not very loud, and it grinds at a rate that allows you enough time to not do too much too quickly, but it is quick enough to not be very stressful on the pet. Also love that it’s rechargeable! I used it on my big bird, and he does not mind it at all, even though he is usually afraid of clippers. The clippers with this kit have a nice little guard, but I have not used them yet so I don’t know how well they cut. They seem great, and they even have a lock.

Used it on my 9wk old puppy. It was gentle enough to there he didn't mind, but strong enough to easily file his nails down. Battery life is good, the clippers are sharp and very safe to use(big plus if you have little ones), and the nail filer is durable. I would recommend this to animal lovers out there. I have yet to see how well it works on bigger dogs. My puppy is going to be a bigger guy. I'll update once I've tried it then.

3 years of not being able to TOUCH our little boys nails with clippers and we brought out this file. Extremely quiet and he laid on his back and allowed every nail on all paws to be filed then kissed my son after. Highly recommend.
