This mattress cover is great! There is no crinkling sound at all what so ever, and it is very soft. I was really surprised by how soft it was to be honest. Actually slept directly on this one night when the sheets weren't done drying yet. I bought a queen size and it fits really well, and covers the entire top of the mattress with the water resistant portion. There is some extra space along the sides, so if I decided to add a topper to the mattress at some point, there would be no problem having it still fit around the sides of the bed. I have an adjustable sleep number bed and have had no issues with it slipping off the corners when the head or feet are raised and lowered. As far as the water resistance goes, a glass was spilled on the bed, but nothing went through the cover into the mattress. I do wash this separate from everything else as it needs to be washed with no fabric softener and dried on low to not damage the lining. I also had to make sure the non-water resistant side was facing the drum and do a second spin cycle to get all the water out, but I expected this with any cover. Overall this is a really great mattress cover and well worth it, I highly recommend.

I was astonished to get this quality mattress pad protector at a cost less than the model one level down. It does seem rather "plasticky" on the back side but I've not noticed increased sweating or heat because of this. I have no idea if it is waterproof but it seems like it would be. This was bought to cover a 100% natural latex mattress and I believe it's doing its job so far. I especially like that it fit well over the 9" mattress and 2 " topper without gapping or bulges or anything. My husband says he has noticed no issues with being too hot. I've wondered if it's heating the bed a little bit as I feel warmer but it's winter and warmer is good for now! We'll see when summer comes if it keeps us cool and actually breathes. The heat could be the mattress too so only time will tell. Overall I think quite pleased with this purchase. I washed it before using in warm water and like that it is washable AND dryable on low.

Haven’t gotten it wet, so can’t comment on that, but it’s actually cool and comfortable and quiet to sleep on.

Stays really well on the mattress and doesn’t move, but I felt little bit of noise slightly at times. I use it on a tempurpedic pro adapt firm mattress and doesn’t change the feel of the mattress at all.

Mistakes were made. This mattress pad is awful. Out of the package it was super soft, seemed great…til you sleep on it. Anytime anyone moves it makes noise like you’re scooting on a tarp. Actually, you may be better off with a tarp. It’s the most annoying noise, it’ll have you mad at your partner for just being alive and moving around while you’re trying to sleep lol; then even on a night alone I annoyed myself because I was restless and hearing the noise anytime I moved a muscle, just adding insult to injury. Do better.

This mattress protector has been on our bed for over a year now and is holding up well. Luckily we've never had to find out if it actually works, but I have in the past with other SafeRest covers and they definitely do work. This one is not crinkly as some other cheaper covers are, and you really don't even know its on your mattress. It fits this deeper mattress without issue, too. Just make sure you care for it properly (wash and dry it correctly!) and it'll be just fine.

I purchased a DreamCloud mattress and slept on it for a month while I researched mattress covers. It is a cashmere top and I didn't know how I could do better than that, but wanted a pad with as much comfort as this mattress was giving me. I researched everything I could find. I thought I'd go with a wool one, but didn't want to spend $350+ for a pad! The reviews for a less expensive one said it fell apart in the wash. A brother told me he received free bamboo sheets with his memory foam mattress and how comfortable they were. I Googled Bamboo mattress pads and came up with this one. Read all the reviews, and liked the protection it gives WITHOUT NOISE. I've had it a couple weeks now. LOVE IT!!! The best pad i've ever had! Comfy, not hot, no rustling noise.

The price gave me some doubts, but this was well worth the cost. It's very much a premium quality mattress protector that is actually legitimately waterproof. There are so many other mattress protectors on here and I'm glad I went with this one. I've washed it a few times now and it's still good as new.

It's soft and easy to wash as per the directions, looks and feels great under the sheets. The fit is ample. I haven't actually tested it's water resistance so I gave it a 4 but I assume it works. I bought it to replace my previous one which was supposed to be water proof but turned out it wasn't.
