NEOVA DNA Total Repair, 1.7 Fl Oz

I have ordered 3 bottles of the dna repair thru this amazon posting, each one was ordered individually from different amazon sellers who fulfilled the order. Bottle 1 and 3 were the original formula (fragrance-free) distributed from Montgomeryville, PA (as shown in the posting photo of the back of the bottle). Bottle 2 was the new formula which is thinner and extremely aromatic, like super intense dove bar soap, really sharp, irritating smell. The new formula is distributed out of Horsham, PA (listed on the back of the bottle) otherwise the bottles are nearly identical. It's been 2 months since I started using the cream, twice a day as it describes, and I've noticed a difference. More even skin, slight fading in age spots--I like enough that I might splurge on their body lotion for other body parts. I use a little less than a full pump for face, ears, and neck (high skin cancer areas), and a bottle lasts me exactly 4 weeks. I only wish it was explicitly clear when ordering on amazon if one is purchasing the old fragrance-free formula or the new dove-bar-soap formula.

In a 48 year old woman who got way too much sun exposure in my younger years, and am looking to do damage control now. I read about DNA repair enzymes and was intrigued, albeit a little skeptical. It seems too good to be true, but I didn't find any evidence refuting its claims, so I decided to try it. I'm still not positive of the science behind it, but I can tell you without a doubt that it has improved the skin on my face and neck, especially the left side that has received a little more cumulative sun from driving the crowded California freeways. After using it a month, my skin tone was much more even, some small discoloration had/are disappearing, my skin feels smoother, softer and just looks better. I use other products as well , so I can't say the improvement is solely because of this DNA repair cream, and is pricy...but it made enough of a difference on MY skin that I will repurchase it and continue to use it. I'm hoping to read and learn more about the science behind it and clinical trials, and hope to find more products using DNA enzymes, but for now, I'm going off my own experience and I have to admit it appears to be making a difference on my face and neck. I didn't give it 5 stars because I haven't used it long enough to have enough information to say it deserves 5 stars, but that's not out of the realm of possibility of it continues to improve my skin. I added a pic, I don't have any before pictures, but this pic still gives you an idea of the condition of my skin after 4-5 weeks use. My skin, particularly on the "drivers side", was much more uneven colored and...just more weathered looking before I began using this 2x Daily. Like mentioned, I'm skeptical...but hopeful and even a modest improvement after 4-5 weeks of use, makes it worth the price for me. Btw... My order didn't have the fragrance I've seen others refer to, and one bottle has lasted my 5 weeks if 2x Daily application.Update- after using it 2x daily for several months I can see a definite improvement in my skin, and I'm not the only one who has noticed. Co-workers have commented also. Both the eveness and the texture have improved. My blotches and uneven skin color and dark spots have disappeared and my skin doesn't have the over all weathered look it did before. I especially noticed an improvement in the left side of my neck and chest (the driver's side), dark spots and rough texture disappeared and the neck and chest area look even and much better. I also had two dry scaly patches on my hairline above my forehead. They were itchy and I couldn't help but scratch them, sometimes until they bled. I've tried cortisone, salicylic acid, and creams and they never healed and always itched. I tried this and within a week they no longer itched and began to heal. They are totally healed now and the hair has begun to grow back. I am a believer, but I still wish there was more info available about HOW and IF the studies show this actually works, and what other products have these enzymes. I usually subscribe to the philosophy that if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I'm still skeptical about the DNA repair claim, but whatever amount however this stuff works, it does work.

really liked this stuff. it was introduced to me by my IPL facial technician. used it for many months until out of nowhere... bam. THE PRICE DOUBLED. will absolutely not buy again, it tells me that the company does not value their clients.

I also saw this product reviewed on The Doctors television show and I don't have age spots on my hands, but I do have Melasma on my upper lip and below one of my eyes. I find that this condition really bothers me and when I read more about this product I thought I would try it. I had been using Obagi Nu-Derm, but there are so many steps/products and I cannot deal with the excessive skin peeling. I have used this product 2x daily for the last month, I just ran out this morning. I have also been using the Nourshing lotion 1x daily (morning under makeup, but over the Total Repair). I am starting to see a difference and without any burning, peeling or embarrassing effects. I love how silky my face feels after applying and although I don't notice my Freckles fading (fine by me) like they did with the Obagi products, I am seeing the Melasma start to fade. Even my Mom and Husband have noticed. I am very self conscious about the Melasma and always wear cover-up/concealer (which doesn't really work all that well)... but now I feel less like this is the area my eyes immediately go to when I look in the mirror. I am just ordering another bottle and I am looking forward to seeing more improvement the longer I use it. It is a bit on the pricey side, but since it doesn't require a perscription and doesn't have any harsh effects on delicate skin... I am fine with it taking longer than a couple of weeks to see improvements. I will continue to use both of these products.

Such a bummer! I really love this stuff and bought it regularly. But they DOUBLED the price recently, like from $49 to $99. I could understand a small increase for manufacturing reasons but that's ridiculous! I would tell everybody how much I love it but now I will switch to the newest thing my dermo recommends.

Since I have been using this product for approximately 6 months, my skin has improved measurably. Friends that I haven't seen for a while think I've had Botox. I will certainly keep using it.

I started using the DNA Neova line about 6 weeks ago. I am over 50 and starting to show usual signs of dryness and aging associated to menopause. I can't say enough about how this has changed the look of my skin. It is not too strong it does not cause redness or irritation. Makeup goes on very quickly and easily after I apply it. I use it day and night after cleansing my face. Would highly recommend for any woman postmenopause especially.

This face cream was recommended by my dermatologist and I was happy when I found it on line for less than what it was sold for in the doctor's office.The dermatologist told me that it would fade sun damage spots on my face and it does not. It's a very nice quality face cream, but that's all. Don't think I would order it again.

Didn't work..just full of silicone..brought out a lot of brown spots too that were not there before..stopped using it and would not buy again

Pretty early to tell a difference but like the texture and smell. I only used it for a feq weeks now.
