The Love Co's Aloe Vera Organic gel is awesome! Comes in a nice, sturdy bottle. It has a flip-top lid that does a great job of keeping the bottle sealed when not in use, thus keeping the gel fresh. There's a clear white, I guess you'd call it a 'plug' in the top of the bottle that must be removed prior to use. (I popped it out easily using a butter knife) The gel is nice and lightweight, easy to apply. Its not sticky and absorption is pretty fast. I first used it on my face and it immediately soothed the patches of inflamed eczema. I now use it on my face daily. I've also used it on the kids, on the bottoms of my feet to soften them, my husband uses it after shaving. Tonight, I used a small amount as a hair conditioner and boy did it ever make my hair soft and shiny. Felt nice and fresh. It does have a nice, light scent though it doesn't last long at all.There are SO many uses for aloe vera! I'm looking forward to using it in wintertime when my dry, sensitive skin gets even drier. Good to know this will help relieve the itching/burning that comes with dry skin. I find the price reasonable. This is a product I WILL order again.

This aloe vera gel arrived in a sealed box. There is a plastic stopper cap under the bottle cap which you have to remove to use the bottle which I found fairly difficult to remove. Once removed the bottle cap itself was also difficult to open. The gel has a very mild odor to it but I found it to be fairly sticky compared to other brands. I did like that the gel was fairly clean without too many additional ingredients. I did notice that turmeric extract was included in the ingredients which I found to be strange for an aloe very gel but I don't think that it would cause any issues. With 8.5 oz in the bottle you get a decent amount for the cost. Overall this is a decent aloe very gel but I would probably go with another brand next time due to the issues that I noted.

I love to use aloe vera on my skin for moisture and after sunburns. I prefer basic pure aloe vera gel. Although this doesn't have the chemical dyes or additives that other gels have, it does include extra ingredients which can be bad for sunburned skin but doesn't set off my sensitive skin when it's healthy.This is a basic aloe vera. It is light and applies smoothly like other gels. There is no "balling up" or getting sticky when you wash after application.I do like that this is boxed and that the box is completely sealed in plastic. That way you will know that the product has not been tampered with.

I became a fan of aloe vera gel after a severe, blistering, weeping sunburn many years ago. Aloe vera gel not only saved my vacation, it saved me a trip to the hospital. Since I don't usually realize I'm getting a sunburn until it's way to late, I keep aloe vera in supply at all times, whether at home or on vacation. This bottle of aloe vera gel is an attractive, easy to use design that takes up little space on a shelf. While I've used many aloe vera gels that are thick and sticky and take forever to absorb, none of these problems exist with this one. I absolutely love it. It's soothing to my skin when it's sunburned, cracked, or simply dry. It works quickly, and works well. I consider it a good value and I am thrilled that I ordered it.

I have been using aloe in the Late 70s, long before it ever became popular in the stores.I would grow my own and use it directly from the plant. Wonderful stuff! However I will omit having aloe in a bottle ready to go is a lot more convenient. This product is not 100% pure aloe vera as it does have some preservatives/other ingredients in it but they do not seem that bad overall. Some aloe products are full of additives. This one contains Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Xanthan Gum, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate (Food Grade) , Potassium Sorbate (Food Grade). This is a lighter weight aloe gel that seems to absorb nicely into my skin. Nothing negative to say about the product. Overall I really like it. Recommended.

There’s problems with basic functionality here. It’s hard to understand how to dispense the gel, because the cap and spout are weird and non user friendly. You finally figure that out, only to have the gel plop out in huge globs. I can’t even comment on whether the gel works to soothe skin, because I was so frustrated with the above that I just washed the huge smear of it off my hands then threw the bottle away.

Good aloe vera gel that is multipurpose (skin & hair). I have been pairing it with my ultrasonic spatula to clean up my face and it's been working just fine.It comes sealed and an inner lid to avoid leaks. I am not particularly a fan of the cap, it is a somewhat difficult to open, I would have preferred to have a pump, but still works.In regards to the ingredients, it contains organic aloe vera juice and a few other ingredients that act as preservatives. Analyzing them all using the EWG score, most of them are EWG1 low hazard and only 2 are EWG 3 moderate hazard:* Tocopherol Acetate - Vitamin E* Potassium Sorbate - PreservativeFull Ingredient List:aloe vera juice, xanthan gum, turmeric extract, tocopherol acetate, citric acid, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.

Aloe vera is good for so many things, and when I can find a gel that isn't sticky, I'm happy. This one doesn't dry sticky at all. It absorbs into my skin and leaves it moisturized and soft. I've used this on burns, dry, chapped skin, and just as a moisturizer. It's also good for scars and stretch marks, so it's like an all-purpose gel for me. The cost is comparable to similar aloe vera gels, and this one even comes in a pretty bottle (not that the bottle really matters). All things considered, I'd say this is as good as any aloe vera gel I've tried and better than some.
