Picture quality was great.

Very difficult to use. Very hard to get it oriented correctly unless you are holding the actual lens unit in your hand. The lens itself is flat which is not ideal because it makes it prone to fouling with dust or debris. There's also a very slight lip on the threaded cap that traps particulates on the surface of the lens. Deapite the cable being quite long it is also too flexible to feed very far from the source. Requires a fish tape or snake to get it where you might need inside of a pipe or wall and there again your view is compromised by the presence of something else in the space. The image quality is great, but I spent way more time cleaning and resetting the camera than actually looking at the images it produces. I would say the build quality is great for the money, but the execution of the overall concept is poor in that it is not just something you can pick up and use conveniently. Effective-use scenarios are extremely limited

There’s no reason for the camera cable to be so long on this thing because unless you are dropping it straight down a clean, vertical pipe it won’t feed. The wire is too flimsy to push its own weight after about 10 feet of clear pipe - don’t even dream of working around obstructions.Also, get one that has both a front and side camera. The head just ends up pointing into one side of the pipe wall and you can’t see anything, and the flimsy cable once again won’t let you flip it around.

The LED light for this scope was so faint it was worthless. So, what I did was attach a pencil flashlight to the probe to provide proper lighting. Then I could view the inside of the duct I was inspecting.

Used this to investigate in wall and in expansion joint conditions. Worked great! It was clear and the light was very helpful. The cord isn't very stiff so you do have to be careful not to get stuck, but there's an art to it you get used to over time. Would recommend!

Works really well! Wish it had a longer line

Not a bad picture quality but trying to move it down a pipe is near impossible. With the cord being wound up, all it wants to do in bigger pipe is keep its original shape. Disappointing for the price.
