Overall this headrest are very good, headphones has poor wireless connection, you have to be very close to monitor to avoid interference, I installed then on a 2017 Toyota Highlander, black leather matches great,I’m an experienced installer so for me it was vero easy ,it took me 40 min the whole installation ,installation will difer depending on your year/make/model and tour experience.

Safety First
These headrests are really nice, and the tan covers matched my interrior perfectly, but the headrest wasn't safe when installed in my van (2021-2024 Sienna). The headrest sat too far back and would have caused neck injury to the person in the seat if there were a situation when the headrest was needed for it's true purpose (preventing whiplash). Fortunately, I was able to return the item, but it was a stressful night thinking I may not be able to return such an expensive item.

It's Audiovox, I'm pretty sure anyways
We were pleasantly surprised that the tan/beige cover is a spot on match for our 2011 Toyota Highlander with leather trim. That really shouldn't have been a surprise as Audiovox is what is generally used when it's factory installed. We weren't tickled to pay this much for them (447) but whatever, this isn't our first rodeo with headrest DVD players. To compare, the first headrest DVD players we got came from a company that I had never heard of. Based on the incredibly poor translation in the installation guide and the fact that you basically had to lone wolf the installation because the guide made zero sense, I'd think it's safe to say it was just some imported junk. They were difficult to operate and came programmed with something called a 32 bit game system, and the remotes were somehow supposed to be used to play the games. We never figured that out. Instead we had remotes that had, I kid you not, over forty different buttons, and their functions were not obvious. We ended up making post-it notes showing what buttons to press to get it to do even simple stuff. The headphones were not reliable, and overall we just weren't impressed. They were in a 2010 Highlander, so when we traded it in they went with it and there was no sadness to see them gone. When we got these we were a little unsure if we were going to be getting into a similar headache, but these are just what we want- a headrest DVD player, period. If the kids wants to play games they have inputs for pretty much anything you could chuck at them. The other feature we really wanted was the headphone jack on the unit. We have three kids and it isn't unusual to add a friend to the mix. Having only 2 headphones has meant either fisticuffs/to the victor go the spoils or everyone listening to the delightful repeat of whatever cartoon/movie they're into ad nauseam over the vehicle speakers. Sounds fun, huh?The headphones included are nice and sturdy, but probably a little too big for kiddos about age 6 and younger. Any brand of infrared headphones will work, but the Audiovox ones are well made so we'll probably add this brand if we decide to go for more. The remotes are relatively simple and not cluttered with a million buttons. The guide is readable. It's like there's a company that figured out that you can hire real live people to do accurate translations or something. The posts are strong, but do not fit exactly so we are using the included pieces to accommodate our vehicle. This is great, but the plastic pieces reduce the overall sturdiness of the headrest once installed. You will also be unable to raise the headrest like you would with a regular one. Not a big deal, these headrests are not contoured so it doesn't produce an uncomfortable surface.I took a star off for a couple reasons, the posts being one. They really could have used a better material for the expanders. Second, I really wish these had covers or something that could be zipped around the screens when not in use. Our vehicle is parked outdoors and sunlight bakes everything inside it, including direct sunlight on the screens. (Also, someone of questionable moral character can look in and see these, which would not be difficult to remove in a matter of seconds and be gone with). The third reason is a little nitpicky- if you look at the picture of this product you'll notice that the Audiovox brand name is on a little stamp across the bottom. What we got has "Movies 2 Go!" branded across the bottom. I checked the model number to make sure we got an Audiovox product, and it says we did, but I dunno... that kind of stuff makes me suspicious. We bought this for the reputation the company has, the fact that the OEM product is made by the same company, perceived quality, and ultimately adding a teeny bit of value to our vehicle. We're still contemplating whether or not we'll keep these or return them and get an overhead unit (remember that three kids thing? Someone will always be against the movie selection, at least with a single unit they can't pick sides). I guess the last thing I found wasn't awesome was how flippin' BIG these things are as headrests. They are roughly eight inches wider than the factory headrests and they're flat. It feels weird as I'm driving and I can't just use peripheral mom-vision to glance back at the bickering band of hooligans. Unless you're a parent, that may not make sense... I regularly turn my head just enough to see what's up without obviously turning my heads, it's how you bust your son picking boogers to put on his sister's cheek or catch your daughter sneak-pinching her brother because he's trying to ignore her. Seriously, I need that in my toolbox, this cramps my style. So overall I'd recommend this. I'm still not sure if these are the best choice for our family but it's a nice product. The HDMI input is a bonus, the Playstation actually works through the system and my kids are tickled that they might get to play it on the upcoming 10 hour drive north.

Installed in a 2015 4runner trail premium Good quality and easy to install
Installed in a 2015 4runner trail premium Good quality and easy to install, I had to buy 1 av cable to use these as master and slave other then that the product was shipped complete for installation. The units have a lateral adjustment for post distance and a bushing the insert for the width of the post into the seat, this is the week link imo as they slightly move front to back. Over all and awesome alternative to expensive custom inserts
