I received my 50’ cable yesterday and ran it from my Xfinity router/modem on the main level to my Xbox One (original version) upstairs in my bedroom. Before I plugged it into the Xbox I tested the wireless signal strength—18 mbps download speed. After plugging it in I ran the test again—375 mbps. Today I just tested it again—433 mbps. It’s still early but it’s looking like this is well worth the money, especially if you hate lagginess in NHL online versus and CoD matches more than anything else in this cold, cold world, like I do.

night and day speeds
I went from an old cat5 to this cat8, I tested the connection, and lo and behold, previously my connection would top out at 22mbps, my jaw dropped when I looked at it hitting 44mbps litterally double from a DSL connection which is all I can have where I live in northern PA, I immediately started amazon video and was surprised how quickly every video started, I also tried a 4k netflix movie and yes it loaded right away, these cables are very good and well worth the investment. I plan to eventually wire everything in the house

Pretty good cable.
Nothing to dislike so far.Fits securely into the ports dont have to worry about it sliding out like some cheaper cables I've used in the past.Cable is pretty flexible easy to make it go where you want without much hassle.Again some cheaper cables are so tough they are a b**** to maneuver in tight spaces.I'll keep updating if I run into any performance issues down the link but so far so good.

Didn't realize how much I needed this. Do yourself the favor and upgrade to Cat8.
I thought my Cat6 was sufficient for my 500 Gbps connection. When I asked my cable company why I was receiving less than half of that, the rep suggested upgrading to Cat8, at least for the between the modem and router. I scoffed thinking it wouldn't do anything considering Cat6 is rated for up to 1 Gbps, but he assured me that's what he did at home and saw great improvement. Decided it was worth a shot. I bought a 6 inch Cat8 for $4 to go from my modem to my router. My connection went up 20% from 230 Mbps to 280 Mbps. Well I'll be damned! I then upgraded from my router to my PC and I went from 280 to 350 Mbps.Very happy with this purchase. The cable feels very durable but straightens out easily without any waviness. Also they provided a pack of 10 cable managements hooks to nail it against the trim board, which is a nice touch. Two thumbs up!

OUTSTANDING Cat8 Cables!
First, the item was shipped the next day!! Then, upon receipt, the items were well packaged and the quality of the cable is outstanding--just what I was looking for. Very fast data and video transfer!! I would definitely recommend these cat8 cables. I am returning some other brands in favor of these.

Well built item
This is a well built item. I purchased this to not only last longer than the previous cheap version I had but to increase my internet speed. Sadly I have not seen any increase in internet speed. It has remained the same. I have 500/500 internet speed and connected to a 4k tv so im not sure if that has anything to do with the lack of speed increase or not.

Excellent Product!
I like to think ahead. I'd honestly tell you not to waste your time with any lesser cabling. This goes for any Cat8 Ethernet cable from anywhere. Even if you don't fully cap out your speed with the use of this cabling, it prepares you for use of Ethernet in any environment from the slowest speeds to speeds in commercial enterprise environments. You'll not be left asking for anything with this cable and likely will never have to replace it. Enough said. I am 100% satisfied with this product.

Decent, well-made cable
Disclaimer: I received this cable free to test it.Earlier this year, I had some Cat7 cables installed in my walls/attic. They are connecting the 10Gig uplinks on 2 Netgear switches. I replaced one of those connections with this Cat8 cable and was still able to get a 10Gig connection. I do not have a way of testing 40Gig.As far as I can tell, it is not rated for in-wall use, which was important to me with the Cat7 I installed. But is seems to be a decent cable, especially for the price.
