Those with a garage full of gear for working on cars and motorcycles will need even more gear to work on bicycles... These two cone spanners should be the first things to buy. And yes you do need two.. They do the job. Good quality, necessarily thin, so don't ruin them by using them for something else..

I can't fault the quality of the product and possibly in part it is my fault. Raison d'être for the buy is that your wheel axles come with a cone, a lock nut and a washer. The idea is that the washer, which will have an internal tab to prevent it from spinning, allows you to tighten the nut having set the cone so the bearing is free running but not loose. In practice this does not work. You need two spanners, one to hold the cone in your set position and one to tighten the nut. In my case the cone is 14mm but the nut is 16mm.. boink, again my fault. It's an old bike so perhaps 'standards' have changed but please do check to make sure. If you are doing an old one invest in some Plus Gas. Prior to things being 'free' this will hurt your hands.

Excellent for infrequent use. If you do a lot of maintenance you may want a stronger product but for occasional use these are perfect and at a good price.

Needed these adjust cone nuts on a wheel bearing, solid spanners that didn't slip too much (cone nuts are notorious for being able to maintain a good connection). Exactly the same as the Halfords branded "Bikehut" spanners but at close to half the price.

These spanners (yes you do need a pair) do just what they are designed for. They grip Cycle Hub Cone Nuts. They are not suitable for other spannering jobs, but for Cone Nuts they are ideal, and inexpensive. Recommended product.

By definition hub spanners are very thin and are generally made out of metal so thin that the jaws deform under load and are useless. These don't. The metal is thicker and strong and they work and don't deform.

great quality in my opinion as good as campag, which I used to have, but got lost along the trail of life. They have to be thin metal to fit the cone, but I'm sure they're well up to the job. If you need cone spanners look no further, and made in England too.

Hallo,habe mir die Schlüssel zum Einstellen von Rennradnaben geholt. Dementsprechend wird relativ wenig Kraft zum lösen und festziehen benötigt.Daher entschied ich mich trotz des billig anmutenden Prodktbildes zu dem Set. Und wurde nicht enttäuscht.Gleich nach dem auspacken mal einen Biegetest gemacht. Es handelt sich definitiv nicht um Kirmeswerkzeug, dafür ist das Material viel zu zäh.Die Oberfläche ist (ordentlich) verchromt.Kommen wir zu den Maßen (ermittelt mit Digitalem Messschieber):Schlüsseldicke ist genau 2mm.Die Maulweiten der Schlüssel reicht von 13-17mm, wobei ich eine Toleranz von maximal +0,1mm gemessen habe. Sprich, sie sitzen ordentlich an der Mutter/Konus. Aber man sollte keine vermackelte Mutter/konus haben, sonst geht der Schlüssel schwer drauf. Die (eigentlich unnötigen) 8 und 10mm Sechskantschlüsselöffnungen sind genauso exakt gearbeitet.Von daher kann ich nur sagen, ein tolles Werkzeug zum kleinen Preis. Wer damit keine Gewaltakte vor hat wird viel Freude daran haben.

Die Schlüssel passen bei mir in der Familie an alle Fahrräder und machen einen guten Eindruck. Ob das ein profiwerkzeug ist, sei dahingestellt, aber bei mir erfüllt es den Zweck

Der Schlüssel funktioniert einwandfrei - habe damit beim meinem Fahrrad den Freilaufkörper gewechselt und problemlos Konus wieder eingestellt. Klare Empfehlung!

Bastante rígidas, se acoplan bien

Wollte für ein Werkzeug, dass man relativ selten braucht nicht unnötig viel Geld ausgeben.Trotzdem ist das Material ausreichend stabil.Habe sie seit ca. 1 Jahr in Gebrauch.

Eignet sich für Schmale stellen, wo der normale Gabelschlüssel kein Platz mehr hat.

Lot de 2 clés à cones pour moyeux VTT.Chaque clé possède les 4 tailles : 13/14 mm et 15/17mm.Idéal pour une utilisation occasionnelle ou pour dépanner.L'acier est résistant, même sur les assemblages grippés.Cependant la prise en main est médiocre : du fait de leur petite taille, le bras de levier est faible. L'absence de revêtement plastique rend leur utilisation douloureuse pour les mains, et la mauvaise préhension qui en résulte ne permet de maintenir la clé correctement sur les écrous.
