Awesome and budget friendly
If uses properly, It catches let down milk and create a strong suction which is amazing. I wasted lots of money on other brands.New moms - go for it !!!!!

Works well but not always
This product works like wonders if your breast is full. If you have already fed your baby, you won't be able to get much out of the same breast. Also, it does not completely empty your boob. You can pump out more milk thru a manual/electric pump after using the Haakaa product. I use it more for emergencies when the breast is full and the baby does not want milk. And it is pretty fast which works fantastically!

Bye bye messy feeds
For a first time mother like me, this was an eye opener. No more messy letdowns from the other side while your baby is happily suckling on one. I used to worry about the nutrients being wasted with the letdown not to mention for a new mother every drop of the liquid gold matters. You can't imagine how much we let go waste every feed or during each expression. The image is the letdown collection from my first time use and not a single drop spilled on me.No assembly required. Just sterilize and follow the clear instructions to use the Haakaa and you are good to go. My only concern is as I was using it for the first time it felt awkward feeding baby as I was conscious and worried that my baby would kick it off. I have used it religiously since my purchase. Stays put because of its amazing suction capability.would appreciate if the company would provide a cover for the Haakaa like Medela does. I had to purchase the cover separately. It can be a deal breaker for some. But the cover makes the collector more efficient and absolutely spill proof. However am happy with this ones efficiency I will not be using for storage anyways only to catch the letdown.

Good for some purposes, Not sure if it'll work for Heavy-duty Pumping
Good product.About the usage, the suction is quite good for my purposes, sometimes it takes a few squeezes for let down to start. But otherwise fine.I use it for 3 situations1. I was asked to make sure baby gets more hind milk then fore milk. So started expressing to get 10 or so ml out first. Kind of time consuming when done by hand. With this, I attach and get it working and within a minute or lesser It pumps out 10 to 30 ml (based on engorgement). Takes no time at all.2. When engorged and in pain. To remove the excess.3. When I'm having random let downs when baby doesn't want to feed. I just hold it in place to collect the letdown.Speaking generally thoughSo far for me, after it suctions out the initial ounce it's difficult to get the suction going. I have to empty out the initial 30 ml and attach it again and only then does it suction out more milk. So I'm not sure how well this will work for exclusive pumping or deliberately pumping to save for later. It might get time consuming.Other points to note1. Literally only a single piece, so easy to travel with and use.2. Generally speaking easy to clean and sterilise.3. So far, no change or reduction in suction power or anything.4. The advantage this has over a manual pump is its hands free. Don't have to physically pump.5. The disadvantage would be that manual pumps can probably pump more and in a efficient manner for more quantity.6. There's a measurement in ml on the pump. Convenient.Rating it 5, since it's extremely suitable for my purposes. Bought it 760 or so. Worth the price at that rate.
