Miady2 Pack Replacement Sony NP-FW50 Camera Battery Charger Set (NP-FW50C Charger 1)

Update - after being in contact with the vendor, Miady replaced the unit I received. It now works just as advertised. I will purchase again. Thank you Miady.The charger works great with the batteries that are included. However, it will not charge either of my Sony FW50 batteries. A very small difference in size prevents the Sony battery from being seated fully.

I specialize in tech reviews, am a professional photographer and have recently switched to Sony mirrorless cameras. As you may know, the newest models have enhanced capacity yet Sony’s cameras such as the popular a7 II use NP-FW50s. You will want to have at least three batteries on hand, making this Miady set an ideal charger choice. Although Sony batteries have a stated capacity of 1020 mAh, and these Miady batteries are rated at 1500, in real world use, they last similarly. Charging speed is quite good and having the ability to charge two at a time is convenient, especially since it’s easy to go through two or three NP-FW50 batteries in a day’s shoot. Highly recommended.

This stop working after the first day I bought it. Totally disappoint but at least I have some extra batteries now. Update. I change the wire and it's now working fine. I had to come back after giving sure a terrible review. This is a great buy !

I'll be blunt the device is plastic and feels cheap like. However, the fact that it's a fraction of the price of an OEM is what caught my interest. Also, the digital display was an important decision maker as I am an event photographer and at times I need to gauge the battery capacity in pressing moments. Now don't get me wrong, the display has its pros and cons. Which since it was the factor of my decision. It's a hit or miss, at times it comes up with errors but I reset all my steps. as this has become a normal electronic thing since the days of Nintendo cartridges. I would connect the battery before the power is connected it would work. I would charge one and then the other and it would go away. For what i use it for it works plain and simple. Errors code or faulty connections go away if you take the time to figure the device out. I have no problem recommending this as a way better option. Dual charger is a plus also. As far as longevity with the device. I take care of all my devices from the batteries to the body and all the tools in between, I'm a little OCD with my things. I use the battery grip extender on all my bodies and its helpful to get dual batteries charging as oppose to one at a time. If they fix the errors on the screen this product would easily get 5 stars.

I have been taking a lot of baseball video of my son for college recruiting. With only 1 battery (I lost the other) I couldn't get threw 1 game never mind 3 in a day. This has helped tremendously. The 2 extra batteries I needed.The batteries last just as long as the OEM/original and the charger is quick and very convenient.I would highly recommend this battery charger / battery combo pack.This was a great fit for my Sony A6000 camera.

Updated 30 Oct 2020I have revised my rating based on the following factor. I purchased this charger, with the two batteries, in June 2020. It is now 4 months later and the charger is dead.Below is my original review. At that time, I had the set a 3 stars rating.I bought this charger and batteries to use with my Sony RX-10 M4 camera. The dual charger is nice and helps insure that I always have a charged battery ready to use. It charged my OEM battery, as well as the batteries that came with it.My complaint is with the actual batteries. One minute they'll show 15-20% charge left; and then all of a sudden my camera will just shut down due to an battery being exhausted. There's no warning whatsoever; and the camera doesn't even have ample time to retract the lens. If I fully exhaust my OEM battery, I get a "battery exhausted / shutting down" warning and the lens retracts before the power goes dead.

This product is great except for that one of the batteries failed on me after 1 month! I have tried charging it by using the camera it’s self but that didn’t even work for it... the other battery works just fine though so it could be just a faulty battery.3/1/21The seller contacted me and offered to send out a new one for me free of charge since the old one didn’t work. I have to give them 5 stars for their customer care and I will be sure to update this again once I get the new batteries!

These are awesome so far. Charged them up once I got them and the one I popped into my camera has held it's charge for awhile. Hope it stays good! I use this with my Sony a6000.

Tan solo unos meses de uso una de las baterías ya se abultó, es decir hasta peligroso podría ser tratar de usarla,…. PÉSIMO PRODUCTO, no es excesivo pero tan simple y sencillo no debería por qué abultarse ni siquiera 1 milímetro
