Finally have an in ear headphone option
I don’t buy in-ear headphones as any pair I’ve ever had always fell out. I received a free pair of apple airpods through a promotion. Needless to say, they fell out just by winking. I purchased rubber tips, sleeves, and those around the ear hooks to help. None did anything. Well the hooks kept them from dropping, but the pods would go off/on when they came out of my ears dangling from the hooks.So…..I bought these as a last ditch effort. I boiled the water to begin the molding process, but figured I’d try them on 1st to see where they might need reshaping. To my surprise they both fit pretty perfect out the box, so I just left them as I would probably have mess them up anyway. So yes, my ears give these 5 stars hands down!!!!I know all ears are different, but maybe I can describe my issue. When I put any ear pods in, they sit fine in/around my ear canal but there is nothing applying pressure to the back of them to keep them against the canal. This product gives me that little pressure I needed by filling the gap from the back of the headphone to the inner wall of my ears. Lucky for me no molding was required. They are not filling the gap too tight. I do have some wiggle room. I can see how if you reshape them with no wiggle room they might become uncontrollable due to lack of movement. I guess try to mold by not pressing too hard.Anyway. this was an excellent product for me and I do recommend trying them out.

It doesn’t work, it’s uncomfortable
I was trying to make earbuds more comfortable but these were garbage

Plastic breaks after 6 months of use
I like the way the custom molded pieces fit my ear and keep the earbud in place regardless of how much I move about. I agree that sharp edges are possible when molding and should be avoided. Comfort lasts only a couple of hours if you don’t get the mold right. My biggest issue is that the plastic used as the main carrier for the earbud is not strong. After 6 months of use, the bottom half cracked and fell off, no longer holding the earbud. Not sure if I would reorder every 6 months, but happy during use.

They work! And are comfortable - with one minor (fixable) gripe on sharp edges, noted by others
Overall, I ended up really liking these - with a little patience and a little extra Dremel work on the hard plastic snap-on parts.I have given a number of wireless earbuds a try in the last few months and they all failed to perform for the $$$ they cost, mainly when using the built in mic (muffled). So I really always fall back to my wired earpods, which sound perfect to me and others I'm speaking to on calls, don't cost anything to charge, are always ready to go, and were included with my phone. Problem is that they ALWAYS fall out of my ear :-/So I decided to try a set of moldable clip-ons, and was honestly expecting to be throwing $10 out the window. I really ended up liking them, but was not as easy as the instructions make it sound...I approached it like this:1. Follow the directions with the hot water -- but mold each ear one at a time2. First pass, get the mold to fit your ear concha, but don't worry about any ridges or hard lines you create – you’re just getting the base form to your ear first3. After you feel the general contour and shape is there, put it back into hot water for just a few minutes so you can smooth out any areas that have hard lines without affecting the shape itself – it will be more comfortable for longer periods of time.4. Repeat 1-3 for the other side. This worked well for me, but with one additional step -- as I found the hard (non-moldable) plastic that snaps onto the earpods sometimes was sharp upon insert, if the earpod is not sitting in the right position… enter the Dremel!5. Use a Dremel with a contoured grinder bit to (very carefully and ) round the edges of the lower inside edge of the clip - and, voila! Comfort for hours and no sharp edges hitting your ear when inserting.I truly hope that Decibullz takes this last bit of feedback to make it more comfortable!

These puppies work
I've used a few different "hooks" for my AirPods- without success. THESE little dudes rock! I had to cut a small V shape into my first pair to get them to work with my original Airport Pros. However, I found that I didn't really need to do that with my second-generation AirPod Pros. I can run, lie down, do-whatever and these units keep my earbuds in my ears. I also like the little bags that they come with for storage- which hold the Decibulz and the AirPods. Someday I'll find a storage box that holds the AirPods with the Decebulz attached- but I haven't found it yet.

Too big for small ears
These are easy to mold but don’t waste your time and money if your ears are on the smaller side. They don’t work because they are too big.

Nope
They make it look super easy in their video. Not flexible as shown after soaking in boiling water. The molds hardened before I could finish molding it to my ear and if you don’t get it PERFECTLY smooth it scratches the ear bc it IS hard plastic. Great idea but terrible material.

The best AirPod ear hooks.
These finally solved my problem with insecure fit of Apple AirPods. I love the convenience and quality of AirPods, but they won't stay in my particular ears. I have tried a half-dozen solutions with various sorts of earhooks/wings; none of them have worked-the AirPods eventually work loose as I sweat during a run (I use them to listen to podcasts on daily runs). The Decibullz work great if configured correctly. The company's video is a good primer on how to fit them, but because of the problems I had experienced in the past with other products, I didn't believe they would work with the small amount of forming that the video showed. As a consequence, after warming them up, I used too much finger pressure to try to get the material as firmly as possible into the shape of my ear. This made the fit too tight and caused pain when worn for more than half an hour or so. I then redid the process using the amount of pressure that the video indicated, not pushing the material so tightly into my ear (there's a sweet spot for this); and they now work fine, with no pain even after hours of use. These are not the least expensive alternative, but I would have saved a lot of money in the long run if I had bought these first. They work for me where others don't.

Extremely happy I found these
Great idea and finally something that really works! I have oddly shaped tiny ears and my earbuds keep sliding out even just sitting down attending meetings. These helped secured the earbuds so well I can shake my head like a rockstar and they still stay put. Even more awesome that I got a discount because they were returned items (unused like new).

Amazing sound even better noise cancellation
I bought these for my partner who asked me to leave a five star review immediately. He struggles with his hearing and has to have his headphone volume on full when running but with these new ear hooks he has it only a quarter. I spoke to him and he couldn’t hear me and I was stood in front of him.He said they were a bit fiddly to mould but with patience and instructions he managed it.My only concern would be that he would not hear traffic coming if running near the road. Apart from this they sound fantastic and worth every penny.

Terrible for people with small ears…
You cannot mold these if the ear bud covers the conch of your ears. Small ears, do NOT buy

Over hyped - they don’t deliver
I bought these in the hope that they’d offer more sound isolation than a pair of cheap gels I’ve been using with AirPods for 3 years.I was also interested to see if they’d work inside a motorbike helmet - reducing road noise while delivering some music.Summary - no better than the cheap gel add-ons you can buy here on Amazon, lots of hype around warming and moulding, but no better. And then one of them hardened after one warming cycle and couldn’t be softened again, making it painful to even try and put in my ear.Total fail, in my opinion. Like many US products - over hyped, but under delivering. I got a refund.

It's hardly a right fit
There is no way I'll be able to keep these on with activity. I know some do, would live to know the secret.I ride with both a half and full helmet
