ERA White UPVC Right Handed Cockspur Locking Window Handle (21mm)

Just what I wanted, easy to replace existing handles.

Great strong item, but wish you had the left handed version

Ordered these as a replacement. I had a window fix man out about a year ago at £60 per handle and the two he fixed no longer work already - one had a key break in it, the other won't let me unlock the window. So I saw and bought one of these to try. As a non DIYer I had no idea what I'm doing but looked on You Tube how to insert a pin to open the existing locked handle and take off the plastic caps.These handles have four screw holes thank goodness, a like for like replacement. I ordered the bigger 21mm size first but it allows for movement between the lock and frame although it is fine if you want to be able to push open for a few mm of draft, probably not good for security. So now I will try ordering the smaller size so it fits more snugly against the window frame. It didn't come with any screws so keep your old ones. I think I'll have this sorted now - so great !

While this appears to be of reasonable quality, my order arrived without the blanking cover that is supposed to conceal the top screw. The lock look a bit ugly without this cover. Not sure if there were supposed to be fixing screws supplied, but if so, these were missing too.Warrior193.

Sturdy and easy to install. Good locking mechanism.Only downside was that there are no covers for the screws.

We have now purchased a few of these replacements, the quality is excellent, easy to install and they’ve made our old windows look more modern, what’s not too like
