Men's Linen Gatsby Newsboy Golf Flat Ivy Hat

It's a great hat, and I like it all except; the one I got, black XL, came with a button that secures the front to the bill/visor which wasn't advertised as such. It has an attachment of plastic of sorts underneath as well, and it annoys me a bit, and also noticeable. I bought a grey one as well, but from a different seller, and it was sewn the way I wanted and was advertised. I will keep this one, but not as a primary hat the way I hoped.UPDATE: I bought a second black XL from a different vendor, this time WONDERFUL FASHION (the SAME vendor as the grey one I purchased) in hopes of getting a black, XL WITHOUT the button...and it ALSO came with the button. So the hats I got are manufactured by EPOCH, which are advertised as such elsewhere. Ugh! Oh well, I'm now convinced that there is no such thing as one of these without the button, haha! I would be willing to try once again, if a vendor could guarantee the same hat WITHOUT a button, and sewn at the brim.Also, something to be aware of which does not bother me...the color will fade a bit after just one washing and a few days in the sun. I personally don't mind, since the hat now matches a pair of black VANS I wear often! If you've had a pair of those, then you know the color that is starting to show on the hat.

The hat had a very strong chemical smell and strange feel. The fabric was so saturated with manufacturing chemicals that when I first tried washing it, it acted completely waterproof and held water as well as a ziploc bag. After hand washing it a few times in the sink with a laundry detergent and then letting air dry, the smell was mostly gone and it finally felt like a linen hat should feel. It has turned out to be a pretty good hat.

I got this for a costume party. It's much nicer than expected. I use a 7 5/8 hat. The large works real nice. I had to steam it a bit for wrinkles, but not a real problem. I'm very happy with it. I've worn it since because of all the compliments. Goes nice with a bow tie.

I had to replace one after it got placed into the wash accidentally, but otherwise high marks. I think the sizing runs a bit large as the small/medium size fits like a glove for me. When I ordered the first one, I didn't pay any attention to the size I ordered and it ended up fitting me perfectly. I have made a point to only buy from "Wonderful Fashion" as a seller and have received consistent products in three different colors. I need a black one now.

this hat was weird. the material felt more like the woven plastic used to make a reusable grocery bag than the "linen" advertised. the band fit my head, but the top of the hat was strangely baggy, and asymmetrically misshapen. i sent it back.

nicely made. fabric and stitching are top quality. the idea of a large/extra-large is misleading as it does not fit my head. attempting to return. meantime, if you normally wear and xl - stay clear of the alleged l/xl hats.

Not a bad hat for the price.The fit is just a bit too tight, but I have a pretty big head. The color is also a little lighter and shinier than the picture suggests. I also don't much care for the paisley liner, but that's personal taste and it doesn't show when you're wearing it, so not a big deal.

I really like this hat. It's thin linen, but durable and breathes. Great for Spring/Fall. Be careful who you buy from, though. I bought it from the seller "UrbanhatshopUSA" and it was great. I lost the hat and bought another from "AM Prime Seller" and it was only 30% linen, so I'm returning it. I have not purchased it form "MirMaru" yet.
