Love This Sprouting Tray!
I used to sprout seeds in wide-mouth mason jars. But this method is so much more efficient. I'm not getting any rotted seeds showing up like I used to with jar-sprouting. It's easier to wash the seeds and quicker and more effective to drain them too with this kit. Plus the seeds get more air than inside a jar, so the sprouts grow quicker. I'm really glad I didn't order one of the cheaper sprouting set-ups sold on Amazon because, in this situation, I'm convinced you definitely get what you pay for, and this equipment is IMO more than worth the price I paid.

Stainless steel but not stackable; rapid growth
Advertised at purchase as stackable which implies additional sleeves would be available. Disappointed there are none available. Quality seems excellent. I hope it really is 504 stainless and not a cheaper steel.Update: we are in day 3 of sprouting the same seed mix in my usual mason jar versus this sprouter. Huge difference! Still holding off on a five star rating until I see how easy it will be to remove the sprouts. I hope to give them a little light to see if I can get some microgreens from this batch. So, found out we should probably remove the spicy mix sprouts before the roots get too established into the mesh. We went ahead and bought a second set so I could have them stackable. Great options if you have two sets. We camp with them - spicy sprouts in one and lentil sprouts in the other. Will experiment with sunflower sprouts next. The spicy sprouts on an open faced sourdough bread sandwich with tomatoes and sliced steak was out of the world. Very much like a mild horseradish. We are now giving this a 5* rating. If you want stackable, buy two sets - more options that way but get them while they are on sale.

Easy to use and keep clean
I used to have plastic stacking trays to sprout. This single set is much cleaner. Sprouting especially w Mung beans super easy. Price a bit high but this meets my needs perfectly

Still learning.....
I have been using a mason jar to sprout seeds but felt like they all clumped together even after rolling the jar and using fewer seeds at a time. And sometimes got moldy. So I bought this tray set since the idea of stainless steel was appealing to me. Started great, I wasn't sure how long to leave them in there, I believe directions said until they were sprouted about 1 inch. The roots were incredible! But I have an awful time last night trying to pull them out. I think I only used 1 TB of broccoli seeds, will try much less the next time. I am on the only one who will eat these. I rinsed twice a day for 4 days, then uncovered the last day but they were so tightly packed I think I tore much of the roots off and it was difficult to clean. Any suggestions appreciated from experienced sprouters. This was so nice to leave on the counter to not forget to rinse and check on them. They did stay spread out on the mesh well, and once the roots grew through the mesh, they didn't move. Also what is the best way to remove the hulls/unsprouted seeds? If you rinse or use a bowl, then have to really drain the sprouts before storing them. I think the sprouter is great, I just have to find the right proportion of seeds and how long to leave them for easier harvesting. I didn't see a way to ask a question.

Perfect size to grow sprouts for 2
What I like about Natural Roots sprouting set is that the mesh supports smaller seeds and the size is perfect to grow sprouts for 2. I usually use one tbsp of seeds and get a couple of sandwiches and a couple of salad out of it. I also prefer not to grow sprouts in plastic, so another thumbs up on that front.

Love your product, but need to be cautious
This product works well and I use it often. The only thing I had an issue with is the bottom tray's top edge slicing my finger. The edge is curled, but there was enough space for finger tip to get under the curled lip. It was a pretty significant slice that needed to be compressed for over an hour for the bleeding to stop and a couple of weeks to heal. I am cautious when handling it now. This is only the bottom tray. The mesh tray has a nice curved lip that is not open like the bottom tray.

Isn’t finished well
I wanted a drip tray as well as a cover for the initial sprout days, so the set up arrived as expected, however, the finish on the cover is inferior. It doesn’t affect how the sprouter works, just looks messy! If the manufacturer sees this review and wants to send me a polished cover, I would appreciate that very much!

Fast Sprouter for the countertop
I grew a salad spout mix and sprouted beans. Worked great and took less time (2 days less) then the mason jar growing method. Having the lid helps but you will find it quickly grows over so you end up leaving the lid off. If you sprout just beans im sure you can leave the lid on, but with salad mix you cant. The large growing surface and water catch tray was the reason i liked this product, and stainless steel makes it easy to clean and looks nice. Cleaning is what i expected. After 4 min of scrubbing with my hands and water i was able to get it back to factory. Overall i recommend this product.

Great Sprouter
My favourite sprouter- they grow upright, not all tangled up. Easy to clean, well made.
