Despite saying multiple times on the page that this is made in France, on the actual object itself, it clearly says made in china. This is false advertising. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A FRENCH MADE ITEM. On the page for the item it actually says, "The MB Original bento box is made in France, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, by a local partner with expert craftsmanship". Yet this item is from china, not a local partner with expert craftsmanship located in the auvergne-rhone-alpes region as noted on the page.

Fits plenty of food, is a nice compact shape that easily fits into my husband’s work backpack, and we haven’t had any leak or spill issues. Very satisfied. My only wish is that the accessories (more divider cups, sauce containers, etc) were easier to get. Silicon baking cups work great.Even though they can go in the dishwasher, your bento will last longer if you hand wash. They are very easy to clean - food wipes right out. Don’t put the decorative lid in the microwave or the dishwasher - it will ruin the leaf design.

A PB and J sandwich would fill up one of the levels. It is only about an inch thick for each level, and I (a small female) can hold it in one hand. I've eaten cheeseburgers thicker than this bento box.Other than it being smaller than expected, it would help with portion control, and it is actually a very nice box. I will use it, but it is expensive for the smaller size.

I loved the look of this product and enjoyed using it the first time. After the first wash and dry (by hand), I noticed that both the lids had bent or warped very slightly and no longer fit. I'm mystified as to how this happened sitting in my dish rack. Very poor build quality, especially at this price point.The second time I used the boxes, I couldn't get the lids to fit on tight and sauce came dripping out when I tipped them slightly. So I had to put them inside a plastic bag.Back to square one looking for a great food storage solution.

Usually with plastic bento containers, they tend to warp in the microwave or they are very thin and easily breakable. But this bento container didn’t warp in the microwave. I like having the 2 tier so for food that I want heated at lunchtime, I’ll put that section in the microwave and put the other tier to the side. I thought it fit plenty of food for an adult, the square Monbento bento would’ve been too much for me as this size of food was already making me really full. It’s a very pretty bento with a red elastic band to keep it all together. I got the Monbento lunch bag to go with it and it’s a nice set altogether.

This product looked and felt amazing... However, after 6 uses the lids bent up so they no longer fit the container. This led to leakage! This product is not worth the price and we will never buy it again.

I got ma order today, actually two pack, first one didn’t pass the leak proof test, second one which is this one is fine. I will use it this week and add more info about my experience.Price bit expensive for plastic based food container. 🙂

I had a huge problem with the exterior of the material. I found that my nail polish would leave marks on the box whenever they touched the box, and they were very hard to remove. Weird, but it was definitely a dealbreaker for me. I think this would be great and more than suitable for most people looking for this style of bento. It is secure, good quality, cute. Definitely best for someone with a large appetite or looking to store more than one meal (and doesn't wear regular nail polish).

Très déçues de cet achat qui n est pas du tout étanche les joins ne servent à rien.Payer plus de 30e.... j ai le sentiment d avoir jeter mon argent par la fenêtre.Comme il a été utilisé, je ne peux donc le renvoyer.Quel dommage. Je suis certaine qu un bento sans marque aurait fait son affaire..N achetez surtout pas ! Je confirme qu une boîte en supermarché style teppeware est largement suffisant.

It is microwaveable but there can be cases of deformity if not microwaved properly. I suggest that you thoroughly read the manual for this product on proper care and washing. I treat it delicately as my hydro flasks.The airtight system is nooot the most reliable in my honest opinion. I haven’t tried it with water, but sometimes if it’s overly filled, it won’t close properly. I pack rice on a daily basis, and sometmes I have to fill the container 3/4 or 2/3 just so it would close properly.I don’t think this is worth it if you travel with a car and can bring heavier or bigger lunchboxes. However, if you’re looking for something compact and lightweight, something that can carry enough food to get you through for the rest of the day, or just trying to save money, I think this one is a good purchase.I absoooolutely love mine!

Conoscevo già il prodotto e per questo l'ho riacquistato, ma le modifiche apportate ai coperchi, é stata cambiata la valvola di chiusura, non sono all'altezza della precedente versione. Si sono imbarcati dopo un solo lavaggio in lavastoviglie con programma delicato e non chiudono ermeticamente. Da capire se si tratta di un difetto del prodotto acquistato o se é dovuto ad un peggioramento qualitativo dei materiali utilizzati.

Just a solid item. The profile I am finding much better for putting in a laptop bag or non-oversized backpack. At least compared to the boxy versions. It is annoying for packing some forms of leftovers, but that fact I can fit it standing the right way up in my bag makes it worth it.Recommended.

We bought this for our 6 YO but ended up returning it for something else. It was too hard for him to open and put it back together properly. Lovely lunch box for an adult though! I would totally buy one for myself. Just don't recommend it for kids.
