Coral Cab is half the price of CabDryVR, sounds as just as good or better and is more versatile!
I got this for a second fly rig I'm building so I have a board for country and a board for more alternative and rock. Now I'm a tube amp nut and have yet to really hear a Kemper, Katana expensive digital rig that I can't tell blindfolded are one's and zeros so I set out to build a good sounding fly rig on a budget and ended up with an analog amp modeler pedal and CabDryVR as the base rig for my country gigs. And I hate to say it folks who spent so much on the above rigs but it sounds great. So I was thinking about building a separate fly board for the rock side of things when I found the Coral cab here on Amazon. Since the cost of the Digitech was prohibitive I'd been swapping pedals from gig to gig on a weekly and sometimes day to day basis which is a bit of a hassle.Coral Cab to the rescue! I took a shot at this b/c I noticed there was a tone stack and I had found the there was an annoyingly limited range to the tone on the CabDryVR that makes many of the setting unusable and or makes their EQ curves sound artificial.Coral Cab gives me the flexibility to really dial in the tone I'm after which is pretty satisfying after the Digitech and there seem to be many more guitar and bass options available as well. I'm a particular fan of the 2x12 voxy brit sim and the brit 4x12's but there and tons of options and I have a feeling I'm going to be using this for bass from time to time too!If you are considering a cab sim I can tell you as a working guitarist it DOES make a difference in you're DI rig! And if you've been using the more affordable analog DI version like I was I can also tell you it IS worth the investment to buy something with IR's b/c it gives you the realistic "air" in the tone. And the great thing about Coral Cab is that it not only makes it affordable but it kinda runs rings around the CabDryVR in terms of flexibility. Put an anolog amp modeler pedal in front of this just after your pedal board and you'll be saying goodbye to lugging your tube amp to those cover shows with tight load ins after work and glad you did!I can't more highly recommend the Coral Cab!

Must have for pedal users
Why have a buzzy direct sound, when you can have a warm n mic-ed simulated(profiled) guitar sound? With the controls n cab options, it shld be enuf to dial in a much more improved direct/cab sim-ed tone. Just turn it off or disconnect if you're going into a gtr amp..easy peezy.

Satter Punkt-Abzug! Ich muss mit Eurer eigenwilligen Belegung leben ! :-D
