Quite a surprise
I bought these because a pair of Chinon's I've had for about ten years have started to melt and have gone a bit sticky. Now when it comes to bins I have to confess I have a bit of a fetish, I seem to bye them even though I don't really need them, but there you go, I am always looking for something new. Now what I have found is I have always had a bit of problem when using bino's,what starts out as ok. stops being ok,and the the fiddling starts, the eyes get a little bit itchy and it all becomes a bit of a drag, and it spoils the moment. The first thing I noticed with these, was the ocular looked quite a decent size always a good sign for me.Now these are only 26mm and the power is 10, bit high maybe for this object glass, but what do I know. I started out comparing these to the chinons and my zoom Nikons (very nice) and now what I'm finding is that I'm now comparing every thing to them. For such a small object glass I was surprised at the field of vision, comparable to bigger OG's. And the brightness reminded me of my 7*50 Swifts that I've had about 40 years (lovely on a boat). The glasses are comfortable to use, no more of all that fiddling absolutely great, can now keep my mind on what i'm doing. . If you want compact at a budget price and you can do better than this. Then please let me know through Amazon and I'll be there.

Great binoculars, shame about the case
These are great binoculars - very good specification and easy to use but at the same time they fit into your pocket and are ideal to carry around. The casing feels very robust and they are waterproof so they will stand up to some rugged treatment. I find them easy to focus and they have good 10 times magnification - so they are ideal for general use and don't cost a fortune.I wear spectacles and you just need to turn down the rubber eyecups to use them. The only downside is the case which is meant to fit on a belt - so it's not easy to hand round your neck. I tend to carry them in a pocket and it doesn't seem to be a major drawback. They are meant to be used, which is what I do with them.

watching the world go by
I have an old pair of Steiner binoculars(8x22) which are always in use by the family who watch birds in the garden at breakfast..Steiner make superb binoculars and this new pair (10x32) was a good price , known and trusted quality, for me for everyday use and when we travel overseas, the latter as they do not take up much space.Delivery was within 24 hours, and well protected

A treat for the eyes..
I bought these for my wife, (who is techno-retarded - in the nicest possible sense!), for her Safari to Africa and she has LOVED them from the minute she first used them. They're light, easily focussed and very accurate and they do everything they "say on the box".Would I recommend them?Oh YES!

Ideal size..
I treated myself to these binoculars because I spent five weeks in Botswana on a cheetah conservation project in the Kalahari and I wanted a decent pair but lightweight. I actually used them much more for birds than animals but they were very easy to carry around and I used them every day.

Just what we wanted and at a fantastic price
We wanted binoculars as a 60th birthday present. We had done some research, and then hit the shops and found that this pair hit the mark..... FORTUNATELY they proved popular and a well known store had none so we looked on line and Hey Presto there they were and at a very competitive price. They arrived promptly, well packed and with a personal message included. Couldn't fault the product, or the service and certainly not the price. The recipient was delighted with his gift.
