It is made for a child but the instructions are challenging. So learn it before you give it to your child or you both will be frustrated with it. Other then that it is a very nice little camera. The child recieving it was very excited to get it but the adult was trying to keep up with the attachments and show the child how to use it was not.

I set a high value on Oiiwak camera if you are looking for something durable and creative for your kids to use without having to worry about them breaking it.

Sometimes you select options with the OK button, Sometimes you use the shutter button. If you use the wrong one, it exits the screen.It's about a 1MP sensor, not 5. Lying is typical for cheap generic cameras, but they usually have a 3MP sensor. The 1MP sensor is fine for a kids' video camera, but pretty poor for still photos.
