I bought this for my little sensitive plant. It's so dry in Colorado and I wanted something fairly small. I keep a piece of tape (soon to be electrical tape) around where the chord attaches to the machine to prevent water damage but so far I haven't seen any moisture around the product.Pros:•Water basin can be as big or small as you want it.•Doesn't take up much space.•Gentle but long reaching mist.•Can be positioned at nearly any angle.•Super portableCons:•Don't use in small enclosed spaces unless you have a tight seal around the power plug as plug can corrode in high humidity.•Time based auto shut-off. Won't keep goinf if you're away from home for a few days.•Every now and then, makes a quiet high pitched sound that may disturb younger people.

Received yesterday. Used for the first time today. Worked this morning for about 2 hours and about 1 hour this afternoon--I switched it off each time because I wasn't working at or by my laptop. I cannot get it to work again. (I had trouble getting it going this afternoon too, but it eventually worked.) It coughs out a puff of mist when I try to turn it on (the indicator light comes on for a few seconds as advertised), but the humidifier goes off immediately. It has been in water all day, the wick is wet, everything is properly connected, it just won't work. It's a great disappointment and a complete waste of money.

I really like this mini humidifier. I have been running it non-stop for over a week during our below zero MN winter. Other reviewers have mentioned it stopped working quickly due to moisture in the plug area where the mist will fall. I just put some tape over that area to help eliminate this. It doesn't change the operation at all just a safeguard. It puts out a nice stream of mist. This is great for travel or in a car as all you need is this mini stick, a USB port & a bottle of water. Anything tall & skinny works best. I used filtered or distilled water to avoid calcium build up. It has auto shutoff but I just push the button near the port & turn it back on.

Loved this humidifier. I use it primarily in my room as my room is too small for a standard humidifier and the room gets wet if I use one. I love the filter/wick that is used and it is easy to change. My only issue is that it stopped working after a few months. I use tap water in mine and I believe it was like corrosion.

I've used several stick style humidifiers and this is the best yet. While I really liked the low profile of the iFrog that is no longer available, it required a special cable an only ran two hours at a time. I then tried the Innoka tulip shape that uses a standard USB to micro cable and runs for 8 hours, but is a somewhat inconvenient shape. This longer stick with a donut on top seems to be the most useful so far. Standard cable and 8 hour run time are as expected. This also puts out slightly more mist than others which is also a plus as the normal rate is just a little too low, but higher capacity units tend to be louder.

I loved this little thing. Convenient to use and easy to operate. Worked will until I needed to change the filter. I followed directions to install new filter, made sure the spring at the bottom was still working. . . and then nothing worked as well after that. great idea. loved the size and convenience. And the price was excellent. But not if I have to keep buying another one when I change the filter.

This was a wonderful portable to have on vacation. Open a water bottle (drop in some peppermint or lavender essential oil, if you wish) and enjoy the tall mist from this little buddy!Con: Fragile plastic. Not easily broken but constant handling caused a break in it (that I taped shut and continued using).Pros: I'd DEFINITELY buy again.

I love the idea of this product. It’s small for travelling, can be put in any cup of water and pointed the direction you like, and stayed on all night. The only issue is it stopped working after three uses. I tried using a different core, and it still didn’t work. I wouldn’t buy it again :/

Pandemic has made me buy lots of plants and I wanted to up the humidity for them, this is perfect!! It fits in such small spaces, I’m using a water bottle to hold the humidifier. Its super quiet you can barely hear it while it’s running. It does only stay on for 8 hours before automatically turning off, but since my plants aren’t used to that high humidity yet it’s nice! It doesn’t use a lot of water either!

The plastic breaks easily because it cannot stand the water for a long time.

so cheap and versatile!! automatically turns off before the water level gets too low which is great! the humidity level depends on how high the water is, and how moist the filter is. great price for great value

This humidifier's cord is too short, requiring me to buy a longer one.
