Perfect for Boots!

I purchased these for my husband as they are his favorite socks for his Danner work boots. He is tall with long legs at 6’1”, and crew length socks never come up high enough not to have the boots rubbing his calf. These Gold Toe socks do not slip down, are very cushioned so his feet stay comfortable for his 12 hour shifts. In fact, my husband has such good things to say about this brand that I just purchased packages of Gold Toe for my 16 year old son who is even taller than his father!

Since I have larger calf muscles, most tube or calf socks do not stay in place and they end up sliding down my calf. But the GOLDEN TOE over-the-calf socks are the best socks on the planet. They are very durable and maintain their black color through many washes. These actually act as compression socks as well. I never have to worry about these socks sliding down AT ALL. Once you pull them on they stay exactly where you pull them up to. I will NEVER buy another over-the-calf sock in my lifetime. Although they are a little more expensive than other brands, these are very durable and worth the higher price. It is often less expensive when you buy them in bulk.

Great quality and they actually stay-up

Comfortable socks that stay up and don't work their way down during the day. I like that there made of mostly cotton. I took one star off because the foot part is a little too big. I washed them in hot water and dried them on high heat and they're still a little too big in the foot area. I wish socks like this came in sizes for women, but I understand why they aren't. Most women wouldn't buy a sock like this, except for those that work outdoors. or wear boots for a living, like me. Lucky for me I have a larger foot and can get away with wearing men's socks.

These socks are the best. I have buying them for years from Amazon. I will say they are long. I am 6'4 and I have to fold the top at the knee down a little. I like that though. The quality is always top notch and the thickness is perfect. They are a little tight to put on when new, but are very comfortable when they are on.
